I take it that it begins with W??

If so, I like it, my two dcs seem to like it and there is a lovely new playgroup in the playground now which my son who happens to be 3 likes!!

Thanks for the info on Questron - still none the wiser, never seen it before, probably because I am much older than you

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/11/2007 19:50

yeah, that's our catchment school. We're off to view a few schools tomorrow to decide where to apply for. I saw the picture in the paper, my eldest ds is friends with the son of one of the mums in the picture.

I have a bag of 3-4 if you want it, it would of course mean meeting me, unless you want me to leave it under the park bench

Boogalooblue · 07/11/2007 19:55

Park bench sounds attractive

Was it the pic in the BFP or the East Anglia??

I am trying to think of 4 year olds I know.

Just realised if you are looking at schools I take it it is for next september, we will definitely meet then cos my ds starts then

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/11/2007 20:00

ha ha ha ha

OMG, I cannot meet a mum in the playground that has seen what I post on here although the most embarrassing stuff was in my old nickname, so I might be safe
yes, next September, he'll be 5 in September. Not decided where he's going yet though, W means a bus ride from home or me driving him there, whereas ds2 is at Nursery in E so ds1 could go to scholl there, where he has friends going. is very difficult. His friend is the youngest of 3 boys, the pic was in the bfb and their surname sounds like noisyLEY

Boogalooblue · 07/11/2007 20:38

Don't worry I won't go looking for anything - life is too short, dunno anyone's surnames, what about first names? Does the little boy go to playgroup now?, or even the mum's first name would be better .

I think it has been a good school for my two, and the reception teacher is lovely, one of my dds is in her class now

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/11/2007 20:40

her name is Julia

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/11/2007 20:41

I guess he probably does, although he's at nursery with Matthew still and he's not in the photo from playgroup

Boogalooblue · 07/11/2007 21:20

I know who you mean, one of her other ones is in my dds class , I now get the noisily clue

Boogalooblue · 07/11/2007 21:21

And she has a nanny who has recently had a baby

PillockOfTheCommunity · 07/11/2007 21:25

yep, that's her!
Matthew is friends with Thomas, he came to his 4th birthday party

Boogalooblue · 07/11/2007 21:32

well who knows might see you tomorrow, do you know what time you are going?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/11/2007 12:18

Not doing the W school today, they were too busy, have just been to E, now off to Rham and Nrtn

sagitta · 08/11/2007 12:42

Hello,

I an going to try to make it tomorrow, if you are still going, but really depends on what time dh gets back from work (commuter). Is there anyway I can contact those who might be going?

Thanks!

Boogalooblue · 08/11/2007 14:22

So POTC, when are you coming to W?

It really is a great school

SoMuchToBits · 08/11/2007 16:51

Sagitta, POTC posted her email address earlier in the thread - if you email her she will let you have her mobile number. HTH

PillockOfTheCommunity · 09/11/2007 13:43

IT'S TONIGHT - ARE YOU COMING?????????????

SoMuchToBits · 09/11/2007 13:45

JARM · 09/11/2007 13:47

is there another one sometime?!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 09/11/2007 19:05

can you text me if you see this SoMuch, I ought to have your mobile number in case I'm late!

SoMuchToBits · 10/11/2007 10:18

Well, two of us actually managed to meet up! Thank you very much for organising it POTC, I really enjoyed the evening out. Hope you got home ok and managed to find your other contact lens. There were not only a couple of burly bouncers outside Edwards, there were also a couple of police officers, and several very, very drunk people. Most entertaining! Hope we can get together again some time (hopefully with a few more Suffolk mums too).

ProfYaffle · 14/11/2007 09:13

I'm sad I missed it, I have been moaning to anyone who'll listen about it! What's happening about Sunday?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 18/11/2007 14:10

oops
I had actually completely forgotten it was this week
although as it happens I have a very sickly baby and couldn't have done it anyway.

Will start a new thread tonight and try to reel everyone in again

PomsMum · 27/11/2007 11:35

Hello Everyone - about to relocate (in the new year) to Bury St Edmunds from Hampshire, in search of lots of info regarding childminders, nurseries, playgroups, schools, where to live etc can anyone steer me in the direction of who is the best person to make contact with, seems like it might be POTC?
