I don't know Ipswich either, the problem with Bury is that it's much further from the majority, those out Diss way can come down A140 to Ipswich, Felixstowe and Stowmarket A14. I could meet you before if that would make you feel more comfortable?

pillock - you are right, Ipswich is much more central!
In that case, if we organise one in the daytime too that'd be good. I'm not comfortable going out to a meet-up in an unfamiliar place at night, but in the daytime is fine.

(We could organise a Bury night out too, maybe later on?)

I thought we'd plan the Sunday ones as daytime meet ups for children too?

will try to come, middle daughter still in hospital and might be transferred to cambridge on or around the 5th so it sort of depends

I can do Ipswich/Felixstowe, but Bury etc, especially at night (don't drive) would be difficult.

Ipswich is good for me...but pg so not drinking, so could drive.

I'm free on the 9th but having thought about it I don't think I can do it. dd2 is still bf at night and I couldn't make it to Ipswich and back between feeds It's a shame because I really fancy a Friday night out and a few glasses of wine

Glad it arrived safely. No, I'm pants at expressing, never been able to do it. dd2 has a feed when she goes to bed at 7pm then another some time between 9 and 11pm. Going out in Diss is OK it's just the train times etc into Ipswich make it hard. We're not overwhelmed with babysitters either so the issue doesn't arrive all that often!

Hello! How did you know I was Suffolk POTC??? Am sort of in the middle of Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Colchester.

Not sure if would be able to make meet up - am a bit house-sized at the mo for starters! (and also very shy/worried DH would think me mad for meeting up with bunch of ladies from internet!)

No need to be shy, vacua has met me and she's still here, so I can't be all that bad

that you can't come Prof, do you think you'll come to a Sunday meet instead? I could always pick you up and drive you to Ipswich if that made it easier? ds2 is still bf but I can express, or he has the occasional bottle of formula so I can escape enjoy a night out occasionally

Yeah, I'll come to a Sunday instead, unfortunately dd2 thinks bottles are the work of the devil and doesn't entertain them lightly. I'm working on it though.

I am about 45 minutes from Stowmarket I think Vacua. 20 mins from Bury, 30 from Colchester and 40 from Ipswich. Could possibly to a Sunday meet?

beckle - I know what you mean about dh. He is in an online 'clan' for playing games and I gave him SUCH a hard time when he went to a meet. His 'virtual' friends etc etc.

Now I am doing the same he is surprisingly nice about it
