I know it's only October but you all know how bad we are at arranging nights out so I thought i'd start a thread and see what happens. Any suggestions for dates/venue?

I'm ok for dates in December at the moment apart from the 7th and from the 21st onwards.

Venue, hmm, dunno but could go somewhere with entertainment. The Wessex usually have something like a very cheesy Abba night. The food is 'ok' not fantastic but ok but but it's a laugh. Usual cost is about £20/25 and people tend to dress up.

Feel free to carry on. We could always have another one after Christmas

Flame · 17/11/2007 09:14

We could always just go out for a drink rather than a full blown meal (which would be better for my pre-christmas budget)

MJIM can meet us with her sister, make sure we aren't all psychopaths (obviously I can't speak for Surfer...), and then come out for a proper meal in January

Might even be able to drag ChocolateTeapot out for a drink - that shouldn't upset her stomach

If you didn't mind I would pull out if it is just a drink as all I can have is water at the mo with this diet I am on!
I would have been able to enjoy it more if I was able to join in with the food iykwim
Sorry

Hi myjobismum. Looks like it's off before Christmas. Shall definitely have to have a night out in new year. At least things places won't be quite so busy or expensive then. Hope everyone has a lovely christmas xxx

What happened?!

JoyeauxNora · 22/12/2007 11:33

Sorry to barge in, but thought this would be a good place to put a link to my thread

Can anyone in Bournemouth or Poole help me?

Would appreciate responses either way

Thank you!
