I know it's only October but you all know how bad we are at arranging nights out so I thought i'd start a thread and see what happens. Any suggestions for dates/venue?

I'm ok for dates in December at the moment apart from the 7th and from the 21st onwards.

Venue, hmm, dunno but could go somewhere with entertainment. The Wessex usually have something like a very cheesy Abba night. The food is 'ok' not fantastic but ok but but it's a laugh. Usual cost is about £20/25 and people tend to dress up.

Sparkler was REALLY brave the first time she came out with us and came all by herself to meet us in a pub even though she didn't actually know any of us in RL. Don't think she's missed one since.... lol

Just make sure you knwo the REAL name the table is booked under.

They give you very funny looks when you announce that you only know the person who booked the table as "Merlin", and no, you wouldn't know what they looked like...

DD is fine thanks. As usual its ds giving us the worries. He had his first day on ruitalin today and it went well so fingers crossed

DS is an escape artist child - having to get bunk beds

Arrange to meet us in a pub. come with a mate and check us out and then escape quickly and quietly if we are too scary

I first went out on a meet up not long after i joined Mn about 3 years ago but i don't get to go on many of the nights out as DH works long hours. It always a good laugh though and i make a point of not missing the xmas one
