With c.20 of us, I would put both names on: your real name with a "subtitle" of your posting name if you want.

Hello, doubt I can get to, or afford, the Xmas do but do you have meet ups often?

We're not terrible good about meeting up (although there is also a group who arrange meet-ups via the Pregnancy thread ). It's probably about 3 or 4 times a year - although there are also some attempts in between times that never take off.

I hope you can make it to the Christmas meet-up Klaw: whereabouts are you based?

I had noticed it a wee while ago when it happened to be in Active Conversations - and linked to it for caffersg's benefit www.mumsnet.com/Talk/49/288793. But it 's not where someone new would expect to find info on meet-ups.

we eat at 9pm. i know its late but if we had booked earlier we wouldnt have been able to keep the 'private' bit for as long as we wanted. this way we get to sit and chat all night and not be roaming round the west end in the freezing cold. im old and i like to sit down and chat

I haven't sorry = I am very, very busy with Uni work, DS has been ill and DH has buggered of with work again.

I don't think I will lift my head until the Do' except of course for my pre-exam trip to London . I will be studying on the plane Nailly, you'll have to test me!

you can stop your ing prettybird, we're about to start a new Scottish mums thread in here for meetups. We're in pregnancy for historical reasons.

Anyway, I'll get dh to have a look at the wine list and he can make some recommendations for what would be the best value. It's still 6 weeks away though, so we have plenty of time!

Hey Prettybird, I'm near Forfar so, apart from finance, logistics and childcare will probably put the kaibosch (sp) on me getting to the Xmas do.... Have started a thread in my local area to get local ladies networking....
