not got the CAT

prettybird · 16/10/2007 00:33

Nailolish - I'll try and pay tomorrow - dh still hasn't given me his Paypal details (although he has now looked them out). Sorry about the delay .

Rhumba - there are at least two of us going back to the southside of Glasgow - Harrisey and me. Although I have met quite a lot of Mumsnetters over the years, Harrisey is someone I have never met in real-life, despite "talking" to her many times over the years, so I am looking forward to actually meeting her.

Everyone I've met has been really nice, so please do come along. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Well, that's at least 11 confirmed!

Come on the rest of you: if you're coming, please get the deposit to Nailpolish - or at least confirm whether you are coming. She's had to shell out on our behalf!

Look forward to meeting those that I've not yet met.

When do we start the thread on "what are you all wearing?"

caffersg · 21/10/2007 23:01

Hi everyone, i am new to glasgow and have a 3 month old baby, unfortunately i confess i am english but need to find some very friendly scottish pals. My baby is already sick to death of my company!!!!!

prettybird · 21/10/2007 23:15

Welcome caffersg We're friendly to everyone! (Last night's rugby notwithstanding! )

Roughly whereabouts are yuo in Glasgow?

I think there is a thread in the Ante-natal topic called something like "Bonny Bumps and Bairns" where those with younger kids (and still pregnant) arrange meet-ups -why not have a look. Not sure why they don't do it on the "Meet-ups" thread! . Maybe once it is "full" (ie 1000 posts) they'll come across here and make it more accessible, so that more of us notice it!

We'd love to see you at the Christmas Meet-up. That particualr one is child-free, although we have arranged a number where children are welcome, eg at Princes Square or at Edinburgh Zoo.

My ds is 7, so much older than yours. However, my SIL has a one month old ds and my negihbour has a 2 month old - and seems to have loads of other friends with young babies. Not sure if any of them are mumsnetters though!
