Watford/Barnet/Herts Evening meet-up - November

After the success of last weeks meet-up thought we should get the ball rolling for the next one.
Have picked week after half term for those of us with school age kids as we will need a good night out by then

week night tues 2nd or thurs 4th nov
OR weekend sat 6th nov
most votes wins

venue to be decided nearer time

who's in ?????

Hey Kayleigh, sorry, hadn't realised you were still waiting for me! You remember back at beginning of October I said I was going on hols so probably wouldn't be able to make it? So I'm not going to be able to be there, sadly. Just keep your fingers crossed I do get away, currently trying to negotiate a dh who may have his hand in plaster (I don't drive) and ds has decided to act like he may be going down with something... do you think a Higher Power is trying to tell me I should can the holiday in favour of the meet-up?

Apologies for not letting you know earlier, had forgotten I hadn't been definite enough, IYSWIM.
Ds bent dh's hand back when they were playing. Dh's been moaning about it. I thought he was just moaning and haven't been terribly sympathetic. Dh went to doc's today and they are sending him to get it x-rayed tomorrow in case he's broken one of the many tiny bones in his hand in which case it will need plastering, apparently. Oops. Would feel v. guilty if not so knackered ...

Hi Guys, May not be able to make it tonight. DH just phoned looks like he may have to work late. I was counting on him looking after DS. Oh well. Wont know till much later. If Im not there just start without me.

Hi Thomcat, yes it is tonight. At Old Orleans, Watford. 8:00 at the bar to sit down for 8:30. You can always join us later if you can.

is that Old Orleans right by Costco? I know where that is.
I'll see what i can do. TBH feel a bit ick today, slight earache and as though I have a raging hangover but didn't have a drop last night and only 2 glasses the night before.

Thanks for the loink Melsy and i'll see what I can do. I never look in thsi section to be honest so if there's another one at Old Orleans please let me know if you can and you don't mind. I know exactly where that is and can drive there which is saying something for me!
