Watford/Barnet/Herts Evening meet-up - November

After the success of last weeks meet-up thought we should get the ball rolling for the next one.
Have picked week after half term for those of us with school age kids as we will need a good night out by then

week night tues 2nd or thurs 4th nov
OR weekend sat 6th nov
most votes wins

4th is fine as is the venue - Old Orleans

Yeah, me too Karen. It was one of the places I really wanted to go and we never got there before kids. We are saving it for our dotage now

Is it on the way to Brent Cross on the left on the roundabout and has a retail park opposite?

SecondhandRose, no not near Brent Cross. This is on main A41 road to Watford, near Costco. Can get you proper directions if you are coming. Is close to Bushey too.

actually SecondhandRose, if you follow road you do eventually get to Brent Cross, but it is in other direction past Mill Hill and Edgware.

hmmm, not sure I can make that date, will check at home tonight in the other diary but am sure that date rings bells for a reason.

Oh b**r we're going on holiday on the 5th so unless I'm really really organised with packing probably won't be able to make it. Yet again!

thx kayleigh. yes I'm a definite! May also be bringing a friend along who has just got broadband and have jst sent loads of pickup/putdown threads to help her ds to settle! She'll be an addict in no time Will let you know over the w/e if she can come. Are you booking a table? (or someone else?)

Will check out the distance and let you know. May combine with a trip to Costco!

I will phone and book table couple of days before so (if you can book there) so still plenty of time for more to join us.

Definitely still able to come to this, especially after the marathon weekend with ds. Dh is currently on a business trip, but back in time to babysit Thurs night!
