I will be asking for a payment of the food before the actual night as I will need to pay up on the night itself and would rather use 1 cheque. Also i have had to pay a £50 deposit to book the sofa gallery for us, so I would ask that your cheque include a small contribution towards that.

I'm joking. See you all tomorrow, I"m off to bed very early as I am trying to kick the habit of staying up until midnight watching addictive tv and then feeling like I've only just gone to sleep when dd2 wakes at 5am to feed.

So we know, what does everyone look like? I have shoulder length blonde hair and am very pale, about 5ft3 and will be wearing shorts. I keep saying this so I don't bottle out of wearing them!

Winnie, have you tried syringe feeds? Probably too late if you haven't as you need to beg them from your HV/Dr. Also, was you around when you tried the bottle? Babies know when they're being "cheated" and you being out the house can make all the difference.

Ladies, as there is only going to be six of us wouldn't we be better going somwhere for a drink instead of wasting all the money on a buffet that no ones going to eat!!!!.

I agree with Whimsy, although tbh I think we should just rearange the whole thing, perhaps for after xmas. It seems a bit silly to have just 6 people going, and that is assuming everyone of those goes.

If people still want to I am quite happy to have a few drinks and go out again after xmas for a proper thing. We need to decide sharpish though otherwise winnie may have a problem with cancelling the food.

I'll fit in with everyone else. We can always meet for a quiet drink (I need a night out) and rearrange the bug get together for the New Year.

The deposit was £50 so should be covered by our payments to Winnie. I agree that she shouldn't go to town today, we can just meet for a drink. We'll all have to wear big MN logos on our heads though so we know who we are

I think we should rearrange the whole thing for after xmas.

Personally, i think it is too far to go just for a drink especially when there are so few going, and that rearranging it is more snesible, but thats just my opinion.

I was really geared up for going out and this was going to be my first night out since dd2 (6.5mo), and I don't want to lose the momentum and end up in my comfort zone of takeaways and friday night rubbish TV!
