I will be asking for a payment of the food before the actual night as I will need to pay up on the night itself and would rather use 1 cheque. Also i have had to pay a £50 deposit to book the sofa gallery for us, so I would ask that your cheque include a small contribution towards that.

I'm 26 and he's 41. He has his birthday first, so when he does his friends say "there's a whole legal girlfriend between you!" haha he's so soft he always lets people tease him and never knows. We're trying to desensitise him a little in my family (we're all terrible teases).

OK, I'm glad to read that now! I've been feeling a little guilty about the wedding, I've been invited to go during the day so I can be there for some of it but I wanted to stay a little later into the evening. So I may be there a little later than 7.

nappyaddict · 19/11/2007 14:17

which end of broad street is it?

nappyaddict · 19/11/2007 14:25

tinksmum further down you said you might have room for someone to stay over. could i cheekily ask if that offer still stands??

lilredwg - i am coming on the train too. which train station does your train go to??

jellybelly25 · 19/11/2007 15:32

It's unlikely I'll be there before about 8pm... Am quite looking forward to it.. It's at the top end of Broad St near the cinema.

nappyaddict · 19/11/2007 16:01

jellybelly where are you coming from?

LilRedWG · 19/11/2007 18:08

My train gets into New street Station at 7.12pm.

jellybelly25 · 19/11/2007 21:48

I'm coming from Harborne, whereabouts are you?

nappyaddict · 19/11/2007 23:41

i used to live there! my dad ran the vine pub.

i'm coming from stourbridge.

LilRedWG · 20/11/2007 11:54

Well, you'll all recognise me.

I'll be the one with two coldsores and a massive spot on her chin It's so long since I've been out too and I wanted to look nice I may wear a paper bag over my head.

nappyaddict · 21/11/2007 02:53

whats everyone wearing?

TinkerbellesMum · 21/11/2007 12:40

Sorry Nappy, the builders finish on Friday and I won't have reclaimed my spare room (the kitchen and bathroom are currently stored there away from the walls because we were also rewired). They were supposed to have started a month before they did so I would have had time to sort the room out, but the housing association messed around.

I'm probably wearing 3/4 sparkly jeans, a silver top with necklace print and my nice sandals.

I need to find out what time the 1 leaves from Acocks Green.

nappyaddict · 21/11/2007 12:43

no matter, hopefully my dad will be able to pick me up.

jellybelly25 · 21/11/2007 14:33

Oh cool! Big pub...
Despite being a bit of a fatass at the moment I am wearing little shorts
and ridiculous heels that I can't walk in. I never go out anymore so I may as well not be even remotely sensible.
Aw lilred, i'm sure you'll still look fab!

LilRedWG · 21/11/2007 15:35

I'm wearing a paper bag on my head.

nappyaddict · 21/11/2007 18:02

is anyone wearing a dress?

jellybelly25 · 21/11/2007 19:21

I have a dress but it's a bit OTT... I did consider it though.
If you fancy wearing a dress go ahead!!

Lilredwg get the Zovirax on the go and don't worry about it!

Ronniebaby · 22/11/2007 17:44

Winniethepooh & Ladies

I've got a problem for tomorrow, DH just got in and off the phone and he as been called urgently down to London, his last meeting is at 5.30pm, which wont end till at least 7.30pm, if he's lucky, which means he aint gonna be home til at least 9.30pm.

By the time I'd get in to Birmingham you are looking at 10.30pm. Which is a waste of time, my mother is out so I have no-one to have the boys, & DS2 is usually shattered by 8pm, and is in bed, as he's been to pre-school in the day.

Winnie, I'll settle up anything outstanding with you when I see you.

Hope you have fun.

LilRedWG · 22/11/2007 17:52

I'm getting nervous now - how sad is that. It's just so long since I've been out. Please be gentle with me ladies.
