I'm in EH8 and recently moved from the South so not an expert on what to do.. but what about the play park in the Meadows? Would your 1 yr old enjoy the sand? Need good waether though . Where are you?

THis is sounding good.. There is another thread going re meet ups in Scotland. I'll see if they are up for it. As for when - next week is good for me and the next more iffy. May be off to my P's mid week. Is that too short notice to get it together??

At the zoo meet up in April there was a balloon.. It worked fine! If it is hissing what about the museum. There's the clock and the fish to entertain littlies and the hands on room for older children. Coffee too.

Hi! Bad weather forcast so shall we do the museum? I mean the Royal Museum with the glass roof and indoor fish ponds and big steps outside.. I'll get a small balloon on a stick (!) since I dont know if balloons would be allowed inside - so we can meet by the fish ponds if it is pelting down. If that is a no go I will wait on the steps outside and get wet! Please can you add your name if you are comming so I know how long to wait or if to wait atall! I shall go anyway.

was supposed to have my shed delivered on Tuesday and the twats never arrived nor did they phone

They are apparently bringing it today- was also supposed to be 1st call before 8am and guess what i'm still without a shed

If they move their asses and get here I will deff be there will keep watching this thread

Really sorry the back is still sore, it is better than it was but i dont want to chance it with the walking around and chasing after the little one and the stairs at the Museum. Im sure you guys will have a fab day, will hopefully catch up with you all at the next one.....

Hi again.. Couldnt get on mumsnet this morning!! Was it me or the site? Just got back. THis may be too lste Jam - but I am still going to the museum and I have a bob the builder foil balloon on a stick. Will try to keep it off DS until 3pm or so so we have a chance of meeting if you go. If not no worries. DH works close so will have a chance to meet him after work. Hope the shed has arrived though
Kitty - so sorry about your back! What a pain. Do you get treatment for it? I've tried acupunture for mine just recently and it really helps.. expensive though. Get better soon and thanks for the update.
