Right, ladies and truckers,

I was discussing with Hunker, and, whilst we are strict non-smokers, feel that for smokers, Da Marios involves trips up and down flights of stairs with only a busy street corner to loiter on. Not ideal.

I've done some digging, and, I've got a quote from a decent hotel:

For room hire for 120 max people, its £200 (for 50 people going thats just £4 a head)
3 course meal from £23 per head.
They can arrange a DJ for music, or we can sort our own.
They will get back to me regarding discounted room rates for group bookings.

Does this sound like a good plan?

ok depending on when it is, and actuall price of the room I may be there - would have to discuss with DH once things are 'cleaer' (ie costs/date etc etc)
