Edinburgh - anyone for summer meet-ups?

Hi, I will be in Edinburgh (Stockbridge area) for 6 weeks this summer with the DDs (they will be nearly 4 and nearly 1 then) and would like to meet-up with others for trips to museums, parks , Botanics, theatre and music events etc. I don't drive so it needs to be fairly central.
Anyone?

yeah lol. actually my sister works there to fund her way through college. its a lovely area but so quiet, it was a shock moving to the big city after being brought up in the sticks.

I cant come last week in July though would love a trip through to Edinburgh (lived in Stockbridge for 2 yrs pre-kids). We used to go to the Botanics all the time, and we had picnics there on a regular basis! But that was 12 years ago!!

Lovemybed - 13 years ago I used to teach at Waid. I didnt teach you, did I?

?

harrisey, we could do another one in August - i thought id suggest july as that way there'd be time to meet again if we all (or some )liked each other! I'm there from mid-july to end of August. we probably passed each other in the street loads of times, i've been back in Stockbridge 2x a year since 1990...

Pruni - will email you soon, are you from Ed? have you been away long?

Hi, have decided to un-register from MN for a month or so, it's becoming the only thing I do in my 'spare' time and lord knows there's plenty of other stuff requiring my attention!
Will be back to finalise meet-up plans before the middle of July. Of course, you're welcome to go ahead and arrange it without me . Hope to see you all at the Botanics...

Hi, sorry everyone, meant to sign in again before now but have been snowed under with building work and paperwork. Am now in Edinburgh and still happy to meet up, tho the weather is going to hamper any plans we make...
People who are still interested in a meet up at the Botanics please post their day and time preferences here and we'll try and work something out for next week or the following, ok?
