so I did promise to make a thread and then disappeared, so here it is. Must warn you I am crap at organising so if someone would boss me about and organise me that would be great! Anyway as far as I know there is homebird11 who is in Thanet, Tessiebear in Deal....wasnt someone in Broadstairs? I am in Herne Bay

So anywhere really, I can get to most places by train and i think some of you can drive, so who's up for it? and where do we meet?

see told you I was rubbish at organising!

Hi, I've been checking for this all afternoon! I'm in Chatham but can train it to most places if I can be included. I may not be coastal but I can smell the medway from here!

Fio2 · 09/08/2004 18:19

oh yes, thanks for reminding me cadbury it is not JUST for coastal people anyone near enough is welcome! If its a nice day maybe we could have a big picnic on one of the beaches? and a paddle and stuff make a day of it

Lovely idea.
Aero - are you around? Might you be up for this?

Cadbury · 09/08/2004 19:58

Bump
Aero?

Fio2 · 10/08/2004 08:48

Okay so when we have all seen this, which I am hoping by bumping it up now we all will. Shall we arrange for the next few weeks before the start up of school again? and hopefully so the weather is still nice? although looking out the window today it would be awful weather for a picnic! the house is still hot though

Tessiebear · 10/08/2004 08:53

I am up for that - any time before the 28th August (as we are going on holidY then) I can drive anywhere really! What ages are all our children (mine 6 and 3)

Fio2 · 10/08/2004 08:54

Well a beach would be nice - Broadstairs has a lovely beach and has a train station for those who dont drive!

Aero · 12/08/2004 09:44

would love to met you all, but unfortunately won't be able to make it before 21st Aug (going to IOW after Cadbury - got cheaper ticket!). Keep me in mind for next time though!
ps Broadstairs is lovely for the beach! (weather permitting of course)

Aero · 12/08/2004 09:45

Oops - meant after all Cadbury - AFAIK Cadders isn't off to IOW too!!

Tessiebear · 12/08/2004 09:46

Lets go for broadstairs beach then - somebody name the day

Fio2 · 12/08/2004 09:47

I am quite happy for it to be broadstairs:0

Thats a shame aero, maybe we could have a meet up later in the year aswell

OP posts:
Aero · 12/08/2004 09:48

Would be lovely!

MeanBean · 12/08/2004 09:54

Ooh can I come too please? I was down at Westgate beach yesterday, it was lovely. Broadstairs sounds good as well. Cadbury - I'm also in Medway if you want a lift from Chatham.

That's very kind of you mean bean. Where abouts are you? I've got 2 kids though. I understand the train goes straight from Chatham to Broadstairs if that's where we are planning to go. So if you wouldn't have room, don't worry.
