fransmom · 19/08/2007 22:10

would only be able to get to the ones in wsm as can't, as yet, drive. but that would be lovely

kidsrus · 19/08/2007 22:23

there is also a group called play and share they meet up at different venues and are most welcoming.
Im not sure about dates and venues but i do know they meet regularly on tues at the ashcombe childrens centre.
You could ring there and enquire what time.

fransmom · 20/08/2007 13:19

ah, now there is a slight problem. i work in the week and it's only when i have a holiday that i can take dd to places like those. i will try and take her to clarence park on monday and ashcombe park on the wednesday(?). not entirely sure where castle batch is tho.

are you going? would be nice to meet some mners in worle / weston!!!!!!

kidsrus · 20/08/2007 22:41

might do but was thinking about doing the open top bus from sandbay on weds this week. next week we booked for the chinese state circus at the playhouse.
Castle batch(magdallen way) is in worle on the 7 bus route. 5 goes near too with a small walk from queensway
I'd love to meet up with other m/n sometime.

What do you do for work?

fransmom · 20/08/2007 22:49

have never been on the open top bus [shame emoticon]

mw doesn't sound too far from where i live

i work in a petrol station - the one where we have to wear white shirts and horrid bows

kidsrus · 20/08/2007 23:34

Don't think i use that one they have orange blouses where i go
how old is your l/o
i have a 6yo & 19mth
I also mind others so find im manic with activities to keep them all occupied.

fransmom · 21/08/2007 21:31

am trying to think where that one is! would it begin with "s"?

my dd is 2yrs and 4mths

kidsrus · 22/08/2007 22:56

your right
went in there today and there was a lorry filling up i asked him how much it costs to fill up and he said £500 (jaw hit ground) but the pump stops at £99 every time.
I thought my £59 was bad not that i do that very often

kidsrus · 22/08/2007 22:57

does yours begin with m by any chance

fransmom · 24/08/2007 21:57

actually it stops at 100.1 litres and as the price has gone down to 91.9 litres, it is more like £90!!!

dp showed me where castle batch is this evening, it seems like a pretty long walk from where i live so may catch a taxi if dd wants to go.

fransmom · 27/08/2007 20:40

couldn't make it to clarence park today. are you going to the oneon wednesday? apparently it is quite popular.

re-read thread oops!

hows you?

kidsrus · 29/08/2007 23:31

hi fransmom went to chinese circus today and wow it was fantastic i can't believe people can do the things they did.
The men climbed and swung from poles like monkeys swinging from tree to tree.
The contortonist bent over backwards double and the poor bloke who shattered a metal bar over his head will surely have a headache tonight!
tomo its puxton park have you been there yet?

fransmom · 30/08/2007 22:45

no we haven't. keep trying to go butnow we need to save as much a sposs for ew fridge as want to be able to pay cash for it. am buggered if going to get in on payment plan and pay nearly twice as much for one

hope you had a lovely day x
can't make castle batch either poor dd hasn't been to park once this week. will see if dp can take her tomorrow

kidsrus · 31/08/2007 00:24

puxton park was good a cross between wacky and crealys indoor play zone.
make sure you take socks for all as adults can play too yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plenty of time at the weekend for the park hopefully weather keeps up no sign of stopping yet. have a good one.
