hello you!
it was nice seeing you again the other day.
i am going to sign up for the midnight beach walk, fancy doing it with me? will be fun!

ElvinaFrizzell · 18/08/2008 01:21

Hi all,

I've signed up for the midnight beach walk, not sure it was a good idea though as I'm so overweight and unfit . Felt guilty as we were going to do the wellie walk but couldn't make it. Weston Hospicecare are my favourite charity though so I can't let them down. I'm doing it for my gran who was looked after by the hospice - I'd better get practising asap!!

fransmom · 18/08/2008 14:36

(((((((((ef))))))))))

mymom was looked after in a hospice tho not this one, i have done a couple of charity events in her name, tho none for a while, maybe we could train together? tho not always able to get into town, maybe best as phone buddies lol!

ElvinaFrizzell · 19/08/2008 14:05

fm
Sorry to hear about your mom . Still miss my gran so much and it's nearly 8 years ago that she died.
Phone buddies sounds good or maybe we could come out to you. Either the bus or I can have the car when DH isn't working, but he does really strange shifts. I'm trying to get him to repair his motorcycle to use for work but of course being a motorcycle mechanic by trade he never gets round to it lol.

I haven't sorted CAT yet but email me on elvina frizzell at yahoo dot co dot uk if you'd like.

kidsrus · 19/08/2008 18:33

love to but i only do 1 sponsered event a year as people get fed up of me asking f/m.

kidsrus · 30/08/2008 07:57

he has taken it today to fit it in!

HairyToedHobbit · 03/09/2008 21:49

Hi all, tis me EF

hmm we are now panicking about the motorcycle as I have applied for a course and will need transport to do it. Have been looking up cost of parts on ebay and thought "How much!?!" Then after the shock wore off thought about the parts in the garage currently in the form of said motorcycle. I have informed DH that I may not have the skills and knowledge to repair the motorcycle but I do have a hammer and an ebay account

kidsrus · 03/09/2008 22:09

hi ef lol for the bike if hes anything like my dh he bought the thing in boxes in the first place!
what bike is it my dh might be able to help with the crap parts he has sat in the garage!

also we have for sale:
a oxford disc lock (used 5 times)£30
data tool charger (smart) (never used)£35
red trousers large £35
red jacket large £25 (buffalo)
red Gloves large £5 (frank thomas)

if you are interested i have banned dh from bikes for now hence sale.

hope you all well!

HairyToedHobbit · 03/09/2008 22:37

Hi kids, don't s'pose your DH just happens to have forks, front discs, battery and a headlight for a Fazer 600? [over optimistic] lol. At this rate it will be cheaper to buy myself another car. Will tell him about your stuff for sale though!

kidsrus · 05/09/2008 20:37

no sorry but have got a thundercat throttle cable and a restricter kit (might be safer).
damn shame the garage needs de-cluttering!

In my kitchen there is a torch,2 AA batteries, 2 round stainless servers and a table fork will they do?

HairyToedHobbit · 05/09/2008 23:15

could work!

Not starting my course now anyway so we have another year to sort it, so will probably have the same convo with you then

fransmom · 10/09/2008 17:34

ef/ hth [sorry!] am emailing you now, then i will go back and read the rest of the thread lol

kidsrus · 15/09/2008 21:29

what was the course you were going for hth?

HairyToedHobbit · 15/09/2008 23:31

Hi kids, how are you?

I was hoping to start a History MA in Newport but it's not running this year through lack of interest...kind of sums up my life at the mo lol. I was a bit worried about whether the car would make it over the Severn bridge every week so maybe for the best. I'm trying to persuade DH to move back over there next year...so who knows. I think I'm just a miserable cow who is never happy, twas my idea to move back here originally.

So who's up for meeting for coffee with Marvin the Paranoid Android in human female form??

fransmom · 18/09/2008 11:09

where to? tho not tomorrow am, will betkaing dd to nursery for the first time

fransmom · 18/09/2008 11:11

will
be
taking

kidsrus · 19/09/2008 23:13

hello fm hows things with you now? dd started pre school too she loves it and can't wait to go again.
how did the midnight walk go? lots did it.

oh no hth you can't move back over there no wonder you are depressed!

we looked at property over there 4 years ago and i came home screaming!!!!!!!!! it was hell on earth so dirty and depressing.
apart from the beautiful country side but can't afford a house in the country! he he
settled for a nice quiet house next to a field in worle!

HairyToedHobbit · 20/09/2008 13:47

We lived here, well in the same road anyway. We rented a similar house for £150 a month less than what we pay now for a similar size house. Was supposed to be temporary until we found out more about the area and both got jobs etc. We stayed there 4 years so can't have been too bad!

However I have just informed DH that if we win the lottery tonight I will be putting in an offer on this. I admit it's probably not the most child friendly place but I can dream can't I?

Family People in RL being pains in the arse difficult and I came back to be nearer them and feeling pretty down about it at mo. that's all. Will be OK, will probably namechange and have a rant and feel so much better .

kidsrus · 20/09/2008 22:38

if i had that sort of money it would be just like that.
just have to settle for what i got.
would love to have this but not as a let

fransmom · 21/09/2008 16:28

ooh that's lovely kids

she what???!!?? never . crikey.

yes, dd did enjoy nursery, we got there too early so she had to content herself with looking over the little fence they have to separate the nursery from the slightly bigger kids and saying i want to go in, why can't i go in?

kidsrus · 26/09/2008 23:29

do you send her to the one over the road?
ds went to that one when he was a year and half until he started school.
dd goes to the one by big school and really enjoys it she needs the different environment for her life skills.
i was hoping they might stop her playing with trains all the time and guess what they said today!lol
"she loves the trains and plays and plays with them, she also refuses to let anyone else play with them" lol! well i suppose there is the dolls house for everyone else!

mrsmortenharket · 13/10/2008 15:20
