Chloe, Phoenix- Thanks for a lovely time. Thanks for being so friendly and chatty. Your little ones are a credit to you both. They seemed really tired by the time you left. I hope they both had a good nap. DS had a nice sleep in the car and the traffic was ok on the way home.
Chloe-you did mention what that boy said and i thought it a bit odd myself. Sort of made me think about James Bulger at the time but I did not want to say anything. Little kids seem to know far too much about violence these days (I sound all old saying that sort of thing...)
GingerM- Sorry that your friend is being a pain but hope you enjoying spending time with the other friend who has flown over. Tell her "Sawatdee Ka" (sp?) I'm sure she'll be impressed! I learned how to say "I'm very pleasd to meet you"- really quite a long phrase for a beginner (pronouced something like "Ditch-ann yindee tea die route-sak-ka") I used it on the plane on a Thai steward, but I said it to fast for him to understand! Then when I slowed down, he said-in English- "I'm very pleased to meet you too"
The CD which I used to learn my phrases must have had people speaking on it who talked fast-speed Thai! Made me laugh!
Sarah-Poor William. Nasty Granny! Are you a teacher then? Only found out about Mile for Maude on here last week. Hope to be able to do it-depends what DH is doing. Is it on Sat? I can't remember.
Better go, supposed to be going out in 15mins and need to get ready..........
