phoenix, DH won't do caravans, he lived in one til he was 6 so the idea doesn't appeal to him! Grace wants to stay in one, but I think I'll just send her to her Auntie Carolyns for a week and get her to work the fairground whilst she's at it - that'd put her off!!!!

We're off in a caravan in June to Scotland. A Haven site.

We've just got ourselves a loan to get a new roof (desparately needed ours is falling apart) and put an en suite up in the attic so we're gonna hopefully get a hol from what's left

what do you think travellers do, sausage? My MIL is always wittering on about bringing 3 kids up in a trailer (that's a caravan to us flatties ). My friend has a trailer that she uses when she is travelling with the fair with more luxuries than my house (but she is ridiculously wealthy). MIL went to visit once and was blown away by it (I think the real travellers get a bit peed off with her playing at it TBH). I wonder if she'd let me use it for a week in Bognor? Right, Hubby is home now so I am off to be socialble. Speak to you 2 tomorrow xxx

travel cots, caravans... you lot don't know you're born. we went off in a tent last summer - ds 3, dd 6m slept in the top bit of the pram lifted off and laid on the floor at side of my sleeping bed.

Sorry Sausage its looking like a no for the party, Lewis has got the shits (can't spell the correct word ) dh was greeted with a grobag full of it when he went to get him up this morning (sneaky that he got him up and not me) and poor lewis covered in it. He's not the kind of baby that cries when he fills his nappy so was happily playing sat in it He is ok-ish in himself. I don't want to bring the bug to the party.

we're all fine thanks. dd just getting over chicken pox - she's been fine, so we're glad she's got it over and done with. ds just got a place at his first choice primary school - so v happy.
we've been at cannon hall this afternoon, it was incredibly busy but fab fun as always.
in theory i'm totally up for meeting, but in practice between work and toddlers, we not free much. I do kept checking to see what you're all up to...

Thought we were staying in a caravan but it turned out to be a "Chalet" It was very very basic but a small site that was fine and really close to everything.

I did, it was fun. Sausage had about a million people go back to hers after (I snuck off home though - didn't want to be too socialable!). I forgot my glasses too, just had my sunnies on so I looked like I was trying to be cool (good way to make a positive first impression I think!)
