Mums in Edinburgh

Hello! I'm mum to a 5-month baby girl and I would love to meet other mums, for a coffee and a chat. I'm relatively new to the area and feel a bit lost!

Hi... the Omni would be good,(mums night only) have been there before and the food is good and you can eat as much or as litle as you want....yum yum....lol. The museum would also be good, especially for the little ones. I could not make a coffee morninga s I look after my little one, he is not yet at nursery!!!!
Im ok with either, just depends on when...

well i get the keys to my house on thursday but wont be moving in for at leats a week or 2 cause it needs well decorated and cleaned .

If we could do it after then it would be great then hubby is free with the boys and not decorating LOL!!!

How about Friday 22 or Saturday 23rd June for a chinese and a good old chat at the Omni?

Could do nearer if you want- that is date and location BTW!!!

Could arrange a day one for during the summer holidays where hopefully we get better weather, I know I like to take my boys to beecraigs, they walk for at least 2 hours before playing at the park- bad mummy but they do sleep afterwards.

The weekend aftr that is better for me, 29/30th , would that be a problem?.
Im still fine with the omni, bu if we want something closer how about the one in Uphall, behind the train station, its not very big but the buffet is good and much cheaper than omni? Im not too keen on China Glen.. or there is the Indian?, then we could head to Witherspoons or Chic Rock?... Just some other ideas?????

I'm just over the bridge in Dunfermline. I have 3 dds aged 14, 13 & 2 & a 6 month old ds. I don't drive but if there was a weekday meet-up somewhere easy to get to by public transport then dd3, ds & I would love to come along (dd1 & dd2 live with their dad). Princes Street Gardens might be good, or Holyrood Park is an easy walk down the Royal Mile, or the Botanic Gardens. If the weather's miserable there's always the museum (free & dd loves watching the fish in the ornamental ponds) or the parliament building (which even has a creche).
