Hello! I'm mum to a 5-month baby girl and I would love to meet other mums, for a coffee and a chat. I'm relatively new to the area and feel a bit lost!

Hi there,
TRIPOD&LOUISE1000 - where you from, what area in Edinburgh are you in.

Im not Edinburgh (Used to be tho), but im not that far away I live in Livingston.. My little boy is nearly a year old.

soph28 · 14/03/2007 22:11

kitty17 · 14/03/2007 22:16

Hello,

At last someone else, have been trying on this for ages, and no reply....think everyone is shy?. Im quite new to this....

soph28 · 14/03/2007 22:24

oh me too Kitty- just posted on your other thread too! Honestly they are a useless lot. I tried for ages to arrange a get together when I first joined MN but we could try again if you like. Am off to bed now so don't think I've deserted you. We could just post every day until we get some responses?

kitty17 · 14/03/2007 22:50

Sorry its taken me a bit to get back, was updating pics...
Yes that sounds good to me, I try to be on this everyday....
Speak soon

kitty17 · 14/03/2007 22:58

jambuttie · 23/05/2007 18:40

Noticed the Falkirk one had went kinda quiet, I don't know Falkirk or would have offered to arrange it LOL, would more than likely just get everyone lost

kitty17 · 24/05/2007 11:04

Im the same, dont know Falkirk at all, just Einburgh and Livingston , htink the Falkirk one has gone cold

mawbroon · 24/05/2007 11:32

kitty17 · 25/05/2007 10:16

Babyramone - Hi there.... hopefully this meet up will be good.. there was one trying to be arranged in Falkirk for this weekend, but as it is bank holiday a few could not make it and well no other date etc have been posted, im sure jambuttie will arrange a good Edinburgh one

jambuttie · 25/05/2007 11:38

oh the pressures on eh LOL

OK

I am getting my thinking cap on

Would you prefer a day one with kids or a wee evening one for us mummies- maybe just a bite to eat and a good old natter!!!!

jambuttie · 25/05/2007 22:02

could do a meet at the museum of scotland again with kids

or a sneeky wee chinese for us adults at the omni centre???

will keep thinking though

mawbroon · 26/05/2007 21:43

Either sounds good jambuttie. We will be skint after just moving house so something free or cheap would suit us just fine.

good another meet up thread, would come along if people with older ones are coming as have 8 year old and Edinburgh /livingston are close for me

jambuttie · 27/05/2007 11:15

Free would be a museum I reckon or if we knew the weather was going to be good we could have met and had a picnic!!!!!

It seems most people are from Livingston or Gyle side of town so we could meet central if it's easier.

I just want to go to the chinese in the Omni centre it looks fab there I go thinking of my tummy again LOL!!!

Seriously though I don't mind either way.

We could even do a coffee morning whilst cherubs are at nursery/school too that way we could have a chat and be back in time to collect them.

If any of you are like me though I can chat for Scotland an evening would be best to chat hahahahahaha

Let me know what you would prefer
