As the majority of the West Londoners seem to be coming from Acton/Brentford, whose up for going out for a meal in Chiswick? What days do you prefer - thinking of Sue here as know Saturday's are hard for her?
Also, if you've got any preference for venue (I know Nanou1 and Uwila suggested a couple of restaurants).

MrsRecycle - Thursday/Saturday (can't do 17th March though)

beat me to it MrsR!

I've started a new Feb Day Time & Half Term convo here

sign up for activities now please!

suejonez · 12/02/2007 11:08

I'm up for it (subject of course to baby-sitting availability). Best nights for me are Tuesday, wednesday and Friday.

uwila · 12/02/2007 11:14

Thursday and Friday are best for me. But, I could manage a Wednesday (or any day really).

Personally, I think Paddle really deserves a night out, so can we go for Thursday to cater to her?

Sue, do you have a babysitter problem? My nanny could probably bsit if DH is home to look after my kids.

uwila · 12/02/2007 11:15

Paddle, I can give you a lift home as I will be coming from work and so driving and I practically drive past your house on the way.

Paddlechick666 · 12/02/2007 11:17

aww Uwila - cheers mate!

MrsRecycle · 12/02/2007 11:35

I'm thinking Thursdays are better as well.

Sue do you want to come to the Half-term meet with ds? If so I've space for two in my car.

Don;t think I can Mrs ReC but thanks for the offer. I have a big board meeting on 23rd and will need to do some work for that so my mum has D Weds and childminder for half a day then I have a pile of people ho still haven;t seen him so I'm trying to catch up that week.

If Thursday becomes viable I will come - but for the moment I think not, think I will be too strssed!

suejonez · 12/02/2007 11:43

I will only leave him with my mum at the moment as he has only been home nearly three weeks (I know it will have been longer by then), he is very unsettled by strangers if I'm not there and screamed the place down. So I wouldn't take the risk at this early stage. Also technicaly as he is in local authority care it would need to be someone CRB checked (though she may well be). I would consider her when I think he is more settled.

Added to which after 3 months unpaid, the cost of the meal as well as the cost of a babysitters would make it financially unviable!

foxabout2pop · 12/02/2007 11:47

Sue - which day is your DS going to the CM's again this week? My brain is not functioning very well. Think you said Tues or was it Weds? [b;ush]

suejonez · 12/02/2007 11:49

Tuesday but I need to confirm with Brenda today that its fine.

MrsRecycle · 12/02/2007 11:49

Shame about that Sue - I'm CRB checked as well (have to be for the school)

Paddlechick666 · 12/02/2007 13:03

is it an owl-like change or are you just gonna keep us guessing?

Zizi (how appropriate!) is somewhere I've always fancied trying. apparently their pizza is good or at least I seem to recall someone telling me that about 3 years ago.
