As the majority of the West Londoners seem to be coming from Acton/Brentford, whose up for going out for a meal in Chiswick? What days do you prefer - thinking of Sue here as know Saturday's are hard for her?
Also, if you've got any preference for venue (I know Nanou1 and Uwila suggested a couple of restaurants).

MrsRecycle - Thursday/Saturday (can't do 17th March though)

Hi All - sorry but I won't be able to make it, having had the princely total of 1.5 hr's sleep last night and now at work, I think that by this evening I'll be no good to anyone Have a great night!

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2007 09:44

Oh sorry to hear that bunyan - hope you get some sleep tonight.

I've not been feeling at all well but had an early night tonight so should be able to make tonight.

So we are looking at 11 people (pc - hope your dd is feeling better and you can make it).

looking more optimistic but doubt i'll be there before 8pm........

Eleusis · 08/03/2007 12:19

Oh no. You might not come? Don't say that!

Paddlechick666 · 08/03/2007 12:44

ele, am still hoping to make it. dd is holidng her own but will have to do the bed thing as i didn't do it last night.

not so much for dd but for me and for my mum - not fair on her to do 2 nights bath/bed.

will hop on 267 bus and head over if she goes down okay.

any suggestions for the relief of a stuffed nose? i've got the karvol plug and some Vics type stuff for her chest already.

Eleusis · 08/03/2007 13:59

I'd probably ask the pharmacist for some kiddie cold medicine that is sure to make her sleep. But, I haven't got any specific recommendations.

ComeOVeneer · 08/03/2007 14:01

Have a lovely evening everyone. I'll be thinking of you as I sit alone with my smoked trout salad

suejonez · 08/03/2007 14:09

I should make it but like Paddle I have to do bedtime first as DS is a little stressed with me working full days and needs a bit more settling than normal. Probably will be there between 8 and 8.30. Obviously start without me!

My first night out as a parent!!

2Cute · 08/03/2007 14:18

What's parking like there?

Paddlechick666 · 08/03/2007 14:38

mellow2 · 08/03/2007 14:40

ComeOVeneer · 08/03/2007 14:41

Don't know what the claim was for but is obviously good news. OI ladies where is my sympathy at missing tonights jolly?

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2007 14:46

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2007 14:47

COV - sorry sorry sorry sorry - you'll be missed but we'll have a drink on you!

OP posts:
Eleusis · 08/03/2007 14:50

I think there is parking down the street in front of Nandos. I'm driving and that's my plan.

Not sure how late I'll stay as I spent a good part of yesterday on e-mail to potential nannies. So, I had to get up today at 4:30 to do my weekly report and send it in before my boss got to work to notice that I hadn't done it. Pain in the arse that was. That'll teach me not to procrastinate.

And, COV, I for one will miss you dearly.

Paddlechick666 · 08/03/2007 14:50

sorry CoV! you will be muchly missed I promise.

my tenants kindly failed to inform me that the bathroom tiles had come off. after continuing to hav 4 showers a day for a month the ceiling of the flat below came down.

my tenants then spent 3 weeks telling me there was no water leaking in my property and generally failing to be around to allow British Gas in to check the pipes etc.

finally the main contractor as requested by BG mentioned that half the wall tiles in the bathroom were off........

FFS!

All this happened in mid-Nov and the insurance company have only just approved the claim!

lemonaid · 08/03/2007 14:59

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2007 15:22

mellow2 · 08/03/2007 16:04

Sorry MrsR. Is there any chance of me joining you at Sam's tonight? I wasn't planning to make it as dh normally doesn't get home till late but he's going to be home early tonight so I could go out.

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2007 16:05

No problems - the more the merrier - I've added you to the list - see you later!
