I am booooooooooooored. Have 4 kids, 3 are teens and one is 3.

Celyn has quadraplegic cerebral palsy so she's not mobile. Sits like the Queen of Sheba in her wheelchair and is waited on hand and foot

Tuesday is fine for me

Tues is fine for me....what time? If it is pissing it down, will you still be able to make it? I'll be driving as I'm trying to get over my fear of driving so making myself go shortish distances....slowly but surely!!

Rain doesn't bother Celyn. She's got rain gear for her wheelchair. I might be a bit wet!
Dunno what the parking is like there. I don't think its so good to be honest Nikki. Morrisons has a car park and thats about 5 mins walk away.

There are a few spaces nearer than Morrisons, if you turn off the main Fishponds Rd there are loads of places to park.

I'll be walking from the school opposite Morrisons

My Dr's surgery in Beechwood road - by Subway, so will park in there as I've parked in there a couple of times before so I'm ok with that and its free parking for a couple of hours.....really pathetic to be scared of driving at my age isn't it!! Only way to get over it is to do it!! If its not pissing it down, I may walk....could do with getting rid of the cellulite! lol

I'll be tall, wearing balck and pushing a 3 yo in a wheelchair. So that'll be me asking them to open their double doors and move all the furniture!

4pm is good for me. I can get DS's afternoon feed finished - if he's good and takes it!! I'm about 5ft 10" with 34F chest..will be wearing hot pants and a boob tube!!! lol!!

I'm blonde, short and will be the one wearing glasses and a very nervous expression! Also, DS has a huge mop of curly brown hair!

PS Does Ceyln (sp?) like touch and feel books seeing as she is blind? I've got one that DS loves - called That's Not My Pony - lots of textures for him, which he loves - could bring for Ceyln to play with?

Celyn loves books. Dunno about the touch and feel ones. Might be worth a try.

Gonna catch the bus at 3.44. Wheelchair friendly. Bit wussy I know but I'll walk back and work off that cake!

I had a good time too shame DS was in such a whingey mood - of all the days he decided not to have his afternoon nap, why today!! He had a huge tantrum when I was getting him ready for bed and he kicked me so hard in the nose with his foot I swear I nearly saw stars!!

Playdate sounds good to me. Welcome in my house for tea and cakes too!

Kids know when its important and avoid the nap. Celyn normally has a bad, screaming till midnight thing when she has to get up at7, or if the physio is coming at 4 and I want her to have a nap at 1 she will yawn but stay away till3.50 and then her eyes will close!
I thought Yusuf was pretty well behaved. Its allways more stressful for the mum, convinced her child is the loudest in the room!
Do y'all wanna meet up again? After school for Valium or during the day for us? Do you work all day every day valium?

Am happy to do during day or after school to suit valium. I'm here until beg April then I'm off to Syria.....will have to connect at DH's brother's house or I'll go MAD with no mumsnet!!

Going for three weeks....looking forward to it as introducing Yusuf to whole family and he's the first grandson to carry on the family name, so much presitge to me, the white westerner They are a lovely lovely family! I love them tons. I will try to bring back some Arabic sweets for you and would you like some scarves as well?

I'm free after school next week any day except wednesday and thuesday, free monday afternoon - maybe you'd like to come here and then valium could join us (don't want to leave anyone out here). Tuesday or friday would work equally well.
I'm going to selfishly suggest here cos then I don't have to lug madams wheelchair anywhere but feel free to bring the choccy cake Nikki!
