Hi, how is it in lovely Cornwall, the homesickness has kicked off good and proper now as the weather is getting better and its beach weather! No decent beaches in this area.

I'm now in Warrington, but lived in Helston for 8 years and in Penzance for 13 years. Am orginally from this area but moved when I was 7 years old. Seriously missing my best friend at the moment, can't lure her away from Penzance!

Yummy pasties, they don't know how to make a decent pasty up here! Saw a seagull the other day, think it was a bit lost! Oh to smell the sea air!

Went in a lovely bakers in the midde of nowhere in Scotland last week and was offered a so-called 'cornish pasty'. Basically told the woman where she could put her fake pasty (nicely of course). SHe laughed and offered GS some of her 'local' delicacies.

all this mention of meeting in Bombadinga's ... it's probably a total NO-NO in the school holidays as it would be packed. We would all have to arive at exactly the same time, hope there's space to get in together and then would all be asked to leave at the same time (supposed to be a limit of 2 hours at busy times (it is absolutely packed during school holidays and weekends)- but have been known to ask people to leave after 1 1/2 hrs). I have also known them to make people wait outside the gate until the numbers are reduced inside.
Any other time (apart from school hols) is great.
