sorry pudding i did not mean that they should not but we can talk another time just posted on the other thread

pudding77 · 11/02/2007 09:04

hi sfx, yep just saw your other post.

Paddle, am really looking forward to it. Have to do a bit of cooking & washing but that's it! I'll be able to catch up on Desperate Housewives!

foxabout2pop · 11/02/2007 11:17

Paddle - when they retreat I get annoyed and don't phone them for weeks!! That's really unhelpful to you but each time my Mum does it - and I have to explain to the kids why, actually we're not going to granny's after all, even though I told them we were - it pisses me off and I retreat myself. Although I know she's got slight mental health problems, in my mind I just can't excuse her, specially when her mad behaviour hurts my LOs.

I think the difference with your DH is:

he's acknowledged there's a problem and is trying his best to get better by seeing a therapist and taking medication
he's your DH - so its unlike my Mum, who will still be my Mum whether I pursue her or not

Have you tried texting just saying "Hi - R U OK? Worried about you..." ?

Shame his mum is not forthcoming or she's be a good ally.

Paddle I wore the turquiose top and black pull ons yesterday. Today its the beige cords and two tone blue top - DH loves the clothes today.Trousers keep falling down though

Puds/sfx - IMHO boys should have rubella too - otherwise they are a danger to PG women (can damage unborn child).

The single jabs are £80 each. Pads - I can't afford them either so have left huge gaps between jabs.

DS has now had Measles (x2), Rubella (x2) and Mumps (x1). DD has just had 1 measles and 1 rubella (their mumps is due this month) - she's 3.5. I pay for them on my credit card

Paddlechick666 · 11/02/2007 12:10

foxie, i think i'm in retreat myself now. i ought to text him you're right but i'm feeling a bit bull headed today and i'm fed up with it always being me that breaks the deadlock.

mind you, last time it took him 3 weeks to get in touch......

i really thought he was making progress with the psychiatrist and meds so am surprised by what's happening now. who knows!

good point about the rubella & boys thing. i just cannot decided about mmr or single shot but suspect it will be ss on credit card too!

dd only 15 months so am sitting on it for now.

foxabout2pop · 11/02/2007 14:40

hhm a dilemna isn't it - well two actually - the MMR one and the DH one. Makes the MMR one look simple doesn't it?

Paddlechick666 · 11/02/2007 20:16

well, he finally responded to a text saying how dreadful he was and asking me how he was supposed to deal with it coz he can;t help the way he feels.............

so i flamed him.

silence again - there's a surprise!

foxabout2pop · 11/02/2007 20:50

He should be asking his therapist how to deal with it - not you!!!!

Paddlechick666 · 11/02/2007 21:01

yeah, i said that.....
