Teesside anyone?

Hi, i was wonderin if anyone hails from teesside? i'm in Middlesbrough and I've been floating around mn for a while now. I don't post an awful lot but i like reading all the other posts like the most glorious kind of perv! i thought it was about time i overcame my bizarre internet shyness and introduced myself. I am studying science ft at uni and i have two cute but exhausting dcs. ds is 3.5 and dd 18 months. oh, and i am 24 and married.

I live in Darlo and ILs are in the Boro at Acklam. Love going to nature world and stewarts park.

the HSE are probably investigating the leak. It takes a while for the report to come out. After the Buncefield Oil fire, the HSE issued a report about 6 months later.

yes it isn't the place when it's wet, prefer butterfly world and the preston hall museum on wet days. Darlo railway museum is really good too.

ah..thought youd meant youd seen pictures of me or something!..no i have a mass of wild curly hair at minute and will be the one running round after three three year olds..my CM firend doesnt get there till after one, so if you can make it ill prob be there this wednesday!

So which baby groups do you go to? I read in the local rag that there is a new Tumble Tots group at the Sure Start in beechwood...

Oh listnening to you lot! I too am from Middlesbrough, grew up in Linthorpe but don't get there much now.

When I was a student we used to have to get a taxi from The Linthorpe to the Yellow Rose. This was because I used to work at the chip shop in betwen on Roman Road and I just stopped going in as it was truly the worst job I had ever had, but the owner used to shout at me when he saw me to get his unform back (a doctors coat with 'Property of South Cleveland Hospital' printed on the inside). I have never laughed so much in my life the first time he chased us down the road shouting for his 'uniform'.

Seems a bit childish now, but still.

Hi All

I am orignally from Boro, grew up Cannon Park/Newport area. I had friends in Acklam/Linthorpe when I was at Boynton. Some of which I am still in touch with.
My parents & brothers still live in Middlesbrough.

dont know about beechwood, but i have lists of surestart activities in grove hill, easterside and marton side if youd like to know them?

you have to register about 15 times before they click and get stuff sent out even as a cm i had to push to find out what was going on around us..would grove hill, mmartonside or easterside be of any use to you?

this thread makes me so homesick , went to Kirby college (Linthorpe) worked in Northallerton, Saturday jobs and friend living in Stockton, M'bro, Darlo and many villages in between etc etc etc.

OMG I went to Kirby college too! I was there 92 - 92 and did Hotel & Catering.

We used to go to the Lithorpe pub for lunch and play blondie on the duke box. Them were the days.....

Donut - which school in REdcar did you go to and how old are you? (wondering if I 'know' you) I went to WestRedcar and I'm 30.

Think I went to secondary school with your cousin Eaglescliffe comp I was born summer of 72. I went to college later after working so was at Kirby 91-92 I think.
