Hi, we're moving to North Weald Bassett in early February.

We have 3 DS's, DS1 is 3, DS2 is 18 months, and DS3 is the newest at only 4 weeks old!

I'm really excited about the move, and looking forward to a bigger house. DH knows the area fairly well, but it's all totally new to me. We were looking at moving to Harlow a few months ago, but unfortunately it fell through. I almost daren't believe it's happening, but we have our date through so it must be!

I was really impressed with Epping and North Weald when we went the other day, it seems a really nice place.

Look forward to hearing from anyone.
Thanks for any replies.

Hello.

We have just the 1 and the mo, but we would like to have another in the future. She is 17 months now. I think we will send her to pre-school when she is 2 1/2 (Jan 2009), but I like to keep my options open! If we have another in the meantime and it is hard work I might put her in nursery for a couple of mornings a week.
You must be busy with 3! I'm guessing that you don't go out to work!

sarahkent85 · 11/11/2007 20:33

hey,

no i dont go out to work, im a registered childminder LOL!!! and evenings i tend to sell online quite a bit too from wholesalers, i probably will get a job out of home one day as it does get prison like being in alot.
my eldest daughter was due to start nursery but i bottled out, the children growing so fast and its not too bad for me as my eldest is full time school so i dont get to see him as much as id like do you work?

Mauve · 13/11/2007 18:55

Arhh..I must admit, I'm not looking forward to sending my daughter to pre-school. It all seems so grown up and she's still a baby! I don't work luckily. I'm really enjoying being at home after spending far to long working in the city. It's so nice to be able to do whatever I want now, like spending too much time at Bluewater! (One of the things I go back to Kent for!) Being a childminder sounds like hard work! Do you look after many children?

sarahkent85 · 13/11/2007 20:23

since moving here i dont have any children on my books and my ofsted is due in december so im going to advertise again in jan/ feb. i enjoy doing activities with the children so its actually fun plus i dont have to leave my children.

oooh i love bluewater, hvnt been in a while trhough!! spend too much there! think i got a shopping problem as it is lol.

i know what you mean about them growing up. time seemed to go so fast when my son started nursery. one min nursery next its school!! he grew up so fast. last time i had children on my books i had 2 when i lived in loguhton. i only moved to ongar a year ago but will definately advertise here soon.

does all ur family still live in medway? im going back there on friday as its my mums bday on thursday so we spending the weekend with her then come back sunday. then again end of december for a few days. its nice just to visit hehe

Hope you had a good weekend in Strood. I will have to go over there soon to have a look around and see what has changed!

I don't really have any friends that I go to visit in Strood now. My Dad has moved to Higham and most of my friends have moved out as well.

We've all had bad colds so we're all suffering and feeling sorry for ourselves!

sarahkent85 · 29/11/2007 21:16

oh no sorry 2 hear that!! i hope you all are a bit better now!! colds are horrible, even worse when you have children.

higham is much nicer than strood, its terrible going there at the moment as the dart crossing is tooooo slow and there are too many roadworks on the a2 and that one way system in strood doesnt help either!! took double the time gettin there than the usual hour.

are you all set 4 christmas???

Mauve · 01/12/2007 11:32

Hello,

They have been doing roadworks on the A2 for about 10 years now! Drives me mad whenever we have to go over there.

Finished most of the Xmas shopping this week at Bluewater. All shopped out now! How about you? Got much to do?

We're off to the O2 tonight to see Take That. Can't wait! Hope you have a good weekend. Got anything exciting going on?
