thought that I would start a new thread cos the other one is a bit long now.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, good to meet you all, and a treat for me to come into town rather than being tempted by Meadowhall shops.

Hula, I hope you and Mollie went straight home and put the central heating on to thaw out!!

Alison, you son is a lovely little boy, Katie was chatting about playing trains with 'Boy and pretty girl' to daddy.

WM, I am trying to remember the 'alternative' nursery songs but am struggling.

see you all again soon (hopefully without the rain)

She didn't really know much about it as she had a party to look forward to this weekend - didn't tell her so she didn't get too over excited too early. Really glad now!

katzguk · 12/06/2004 13:46

oh well if it gets rearranged then the carseat will be available

Hulababy · 12/06/2004 13:51

Thanks!

Hi Ladies

Sorry I cannot make it on Friday My relaxing weekend in Dublin was great but I over did the walking and it has sparked a MS flare up so I cannot drive at the moment.
Have a great time I will see you all soon

Congratulations on getting the new job WM You really deserve it. Dh even said last night, when I told him, how much he thinks you'll make a great teacher eventually! Sorry you can't make Zoobys (DD will be really disappointed as no one can teach her the 'wrong' nursery rhymes), hopefully next time.

maisystar · 14/06/2004 23:11

we will be there if the weathers as lovely as it has been we could maybe get food from zoobys then decamp to peace gardens?

promise to be on time this time!

Hulababy · 14/06/2004 23:16

Good idea Maisystar. I will try to remember to walk that way if it is warm and check it isn't too busy.

katzguk · 14/06/2004 23:49

i should hopefully be there but my student who lives miles away might be coming in to go over here dissertation

WedgiesMum · 15/06/2004 02:09

Thanks Hula - I think it must be my teacher voice that does it (went to a party the other weekend and all the children came and asked me if they could go to the toilet ).

Make sure the next meeting is before 21 July as that is my last day at work in Sheffield (mind you am not working during summer hols so could do a meet then).

Have a good one ladies!

Hulababy · 16/06/2004 11:37

I am sure we can manage that WM - 2 weeks is 25th or 3 weeks is 2nd.

Katzguk - I will bring those PJs and book today in case you manage to get along.

See you later everyone!
So who have we got:

Me and DD
Maisystar and DS
Gingerbear and DD
Katzguk (possible)
Sonnysmum and DS (???)

Hulababy · 16/06/2004 14:00

katzguk · 16/06/2004 14:36

hi doubt i will make it today , got to see my student

Hulababy · 16/06/2004 20:16

Sorry you couldn't make it Katzguk

Great to see you both Maisystar and Gingerbear. Had a good time and despite being a bit of a livewire today Mollie did too. She slept very fitfully after we left you at the library but I did get to the health shop and got a natural hayfever remedy so hopefully this will improve this a bit.

I hope your lovely Dd has a great birthday this weekend Gingerbear

Must do it again soon

katzguk · 16/06/2004 21:40

sure you all had a much better time than me!!!

hula have you got bad hayfever? apparently i really good cure is to drink/eat some honey made by bees in your postcode, there are rather unusally a lot of beekeepers in th s1 s10 areas

Hulababy · 17/06/2004 12:41

Katzguk - it is DD who has quite bad hayfever. I have heard of the local honey and really do need to look into it for her.

katzguk · 17/06/2004 19:14

my boss swears by it he had horrendus hayfever which has now gone thanks to the honey!! apparently they are a number of beekeepers in sheffield but you need honey from bees as close as possible.
