Hello! This is Sticky, with a new name (still have a finger theme going on, analyse that...)

So it's nearly Christmas!! Well it's not, but it's always good to get cocktails and curry in the diary

I am going to be awkward and ask could we make it after 10th December? I hope that's not too far into the holiday/party season for those people who have places to go... just the next month is going to be tricky for me.

Do people prefer week nights or weekend nights?

Ooh you're right, I forgot that evenings were a thing! (Usually evenings are a race against time, bath, bed and story before flopping onto the sofa for pre-recorded planner delights and a hearty glass of whatever DP hands me)

Yes, it seems that the 14th is suiting lots of people... And yes we have in the past done cocktails: Ebony Curry: Capital in Durham... which really suits me (she says selfishly!). So that is what I have put in the calendar. I will be there

Right ho. We should probably get a list of confirmed people so we can get booked!

I might even not be on call if everyone behaves themselves so I'll be able to drink!

Oh and for the new lurkers/mad eejits who want to come hang out with us, do excuse the disorganisation. We can be a bit crap but we get there in the end so keep an eye on the thread. I'm sure we used to be better organised!

Hi all. The 14th of December is good for me. Have just cried at the new John Lewis ad though, so am probably losing the plot entirely.

My son showed me the John Lewis advert I had a year so sad :(

OK, I have had to reregister as post Jeffrey I changed both my email and password and can't remember any of them but I'm sure you recognise the name. My decrepit phone refused to let me on to mn but dh broke his phone and got a new one and they threw in a tablet which I have adopted. A bad case of phone envy had also meant I have admitted defeat and retired my old phone so I can now officially mn again.

The lovely finger of fudge (why does that sound dodgy) has kept me up to date with the plans so I will be there on the 14th
