Hi Girls, just thought I'd start another day meetup thread for May. Not sure when half term is though, see if we can squeeze one in before then?

Will have to look for another outdoorsy type place incase the weather is nice, with the Watford Playdome (or whatever it's now called) as our rainy day plan.

What do you think?

It should only take you about 5 mins from jct 21A.
You're almost going past my house, so email me for my mobile number and if you are early you can come round.

Am bringing a friend if that's ok. She has a dd who is almost two. She isn't a mumsnetter but i have plans to change that

It's a bit grey here too... trust the weather to break today - it was supposed to do that on Wednesday! I'm out this morning, but will be able to dial-in at 12pm to see the final venue choice...

Is there enough room in the Mill to move inside if it rains? Or is it really a place for nice weather only?

Tried to do a Google for the playdome and the first lot of results are us lot talking about it - surreal!!

Patchy cloud here with some nasty purpley clouds threatening too (just call me Wincey Willis...actually don't)

Playdome definitely??

Hi everyone. Weather forecast says showers aplenty. While they accept children inside the Mill, they do get bored if it's for long periods. I think it would be sensible to go to Kidsports today and save Moor Mill for next time.

Kidsports is what they call the Play Dome now. Karen, you are right, on that map link you have posted Kidsports is actually in the leisure centre complex marked in red.

It's called Woodside Leisure Park, and its on the A405 in Garston, accessible on the northbound carriageway. Nearest jct M1 - 5 or 6, M25 - 21A.

It is the same place as the cinema, in a block with Mexican and American restaurants and a bowling alley.

I'll be there around 12, do email me for my mobile no if you need...jan quinn 3 at aol dot com. I'll check before leaving the house at just before 12.

Tammybear, I'll be leaving home around 12:20-12:30ish so I should be with you just before 1pm, then hopefully it's only 15mins or so to Kidsports from yours. Have the carseat ready.

Sorry we didnt get there guys..The car was playing up The key fob broke! the car is imobilised and safe...(with pushchair and baby carrier safe inside!! arghhh, been trapped inside all day!

Yes lets make another date very soon.I did enjoy it there today so thanks all. Nice to meet all the others , nice putting faces to names. Good job everyone left when they did , cos melsy went into militant mum with one of the looney staff!!! Shame really as everyone else there was fantastic.

Sorry Jan if I peed you off , I listened to your message when I got back to the car, oooopppps you were not a happy bunny with me. I really was trying to answer but (petrol ran out just as I phoned)!!!,so I was holding babs, locking the car, dropped my wallet and then my eirpeice hands free kit thing fell out taking the phone with it!!!! And no number showed up as your not programmed into mee phone.
