The meetup will be on 15th May at zizzi

Table is booked in CountessDracula's name for 7:30 (however only those with wonderful partners or angel children will make it that early - so come for 8 or whenever!).

I will update the list I have at home when I get in from work (assuming internet connection is restored at home!) and let you know who I have for certain on the list.

Very very very excited.

Yes fairyfly, you are very very welcome, as is Sykes.

I think we are pushing 20 - I will ring and push up the number of people and have words about tablecloths, leaving out the garlic, making sure there's some rustic fare on the menu and not just sophisticated London cuisine etc. etc.

Oh, and with your permission ladies, I hae invited along a friend who is great with child and is looking forward to getting online in her new house so that she can meet you all properly rather than merely in the flesh!

Let me run through my lists (oooh, I am in list heaven).

Hi everyone
I'm new in the area (and the site) and would love to meet other mums around here. I've got two little girls (17 months and 11 weeks). I know it's a bit late but is it ok if I come to the meetup? Does anyone else live in Wimbledon?

cas

fisil · 09/05/2004 19:19

ah yes, that reminds me cas, I was going to do a link from your other thread. You are very welcome to join us - I will add you to my list.

Cas73,
I'm driving from Wimbledon, picking up other MN's on the way - can you be at Wimbledon station at 7.30, or Raynes park station at 7.40, and I'll give you a lift.

cas73 · 10/05/2004 10:42

7.30 at Wimbledon station sounds great. Thanks a lot. See you there - I'm so excited!!!

pollingfold · 10/05/2004 11:06

I'll be in a big black volvo estate by the way, before you go knocking on random peoples car windows.

aloha · 10/05/2004 11:44

Where are you meeting? Am thinking of being v brave and coming if all OK. Only problem, if I meet you all, how can I argue with you ferociously in future?

princesspeahead · 10/05/2004 11:49

go ON, go on go on go on aloha (said in a father ted's housekeeper sort of a way)

princesspeahead · 10/05/2004 11:50

ps yes she is much less ferocious in real life. pussycat, really

Decmum · 10/05/2004 11:52

If it's ok I think I'll come too. Became a Mum in Dec and am now back at work. Much as I love my baby and my job I feel I'm missing out on the support of other Mums because their world is Mon-Fri 9-5. Also would like my lo to know a few more babies in the area.
Do I just turn up at Zizzi? Sorry, too lazy to read the past 100's of notes to fully know the drill for Sat.

aloha · 10/05/2004 11:56

Blimey didn't mean to be controversial...no need for directions thanks. What I meant was, do I need to officially add my name to a list or pay something in advance...wear a red carnation...that sort of thing.

Not sure I'm brave enough for you firey mums now!
