quokka... what's that blend? PLEAAASE!

ds driving me insane and now I've come down with the worst cold ever in combo with the festering infection I've got under my root canal. I just want to die, cry, scream, and not necessarily in that order.

The way I'm going I don't think I'll be able to make Saturday's big bash! everything's aching despite 600mg ibuprofen AND double dose of daynurse aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh. Uwila if I owe for Hotel let me know. And if it's to late to cancel my plate for dinner that was £25?

TTbGood... 98% certain we'll be moving to Marlow in February ... but fear not I shall still try and drag my body along to some meet ups

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 09:59

That's okay MrsBigD. You don't owe me anything.

But, if anyone else wants to come to the Mumsnet Christmas bash with us, there is a free bed at the Mayfair Holiday Inn. We have two rooms, each with two twin beds. Medela (formerly MrsRecycle) Nanou1 and I are going.

MrsRecycle/Medela and I are meeting around lunch time and I think Nanou1 is coming later.

Mrsbo if your desperate you can have some of mine and see if it works for you - will try and get some for you asap? Sorry your not well

Uwila I might be able to come nothing planned this weekend?

MrsBojangles · 17/11/2006 10:05

quokka that's kind of you. Or just get your friend to tell what's in it and how to concoct ;)

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 10:10

Perhaps you could take over MrsBigD's place at the table as well? I'll CAT you some details.

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 10:23

No offence mrsbo but some oils are really potent and will cost you alot more if you have to buy them and mix them yourself. Also she has been studying for years. I have just asked her how much and it's £5 for the blended oil or £25 for a personalised treatment for kids.

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 10:23

Uwila do I have to wear a dress?

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 10:24

Wiil only take mrsbo's place if shes sure shes not going!

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 17/11/2006 10:40

MrsB, sorry to hear of your troubles. Your toothache sounds painful.

I had a cold last week and I'm down with one again. There must be several viruses making the rounds.

Quokka, can I have a bottle of blended oil from your friend please? I'll CAT you my details. I would be interested to find out what else she does. I love aromatherapy and love what it does for me.

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 17/11/2006 11:01

Quokka,

Would you mind letting your friend know that dd is 6.5 months old so s/he can weaken the blend to suit dd?

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 11:07

Mellow, she charges £55 for adults, I think its 90min. but maybe I should pass on her email to you and you guys can discuss? She has a room at her parents house in Chiswick where she does consultations and treatments. Will wait for your cat to come through.

MrsBojangles · 17/11/2006 11:17

quokka, please feel free to take my place. I'm sitting here on my 6th cup of tea with manuka honey and still feeling like sh*t.

I'm VERY willing to pay £25 for personalised just to get ds to sleep! Which details does she need? Age, weight, problems?

hoxohoxohoxo · 17/11/2006 11:29

quokka -watch out for that uwlalal, she can lead you astray
If I wasn't off to Paris I'd jump at it. Let's compare stories next week.
enjoy

am off now as going to outlaws straight after kids school to dump the little blighters and run.

Have a fab weekend everyone

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 11:42

Sorry you can't come bigD.

Quokka, are you in or out? Come on woman, make a decision. The party is tomorrow and i get all flusterd when the plan goes astray. Restore my equilibrium and say you are coming.... (Did I forget to say control freak alert?)

Wear a dress? Are you joking? I'm not wearing a dress. In fact, that reminds me, I'm off to start a thread an what to wear for this do....

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 11:46

What to wear to the Christmas Meet-up

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 11:48

I'm in, have just been given a pass out from dh!

MrsBojangles · 17/11/2006 12:17

sitting here in my bedroom looking at the over full shelves in the hallway and have decided to dejunk on a major scale. Always bad being home, feeling ill and low, always results in me turning 'aggressive' with all the stuff we've been hording...

anybody wants the Spellsinger Series from Alan Dean Foster? SFX? PC? Have a tendendcy not to reread books so they're just collecting dust

Paddlechick666 · 17/11/2006 12:24

byeeee, running mega late.

nightmare with bike carrier

forgot to get child from nanny! actually thought nanny was returning her to me!

still wanted to say byee all and have fab weekends whatever you are doing.

Qokka, watch out for Uwila, she dangerous!

enjoy, see ya sunday night when i will have mammoth catch up!

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 13:11

I amnot dangerous. Never forgot to pick up my child.

Have fun paddlechick, you deserve a nice weekend. Hope it doesn't rain too much.

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 14:00

Uwila spoke with Nanou, and she's not sure if she's coming as unwell also ! Is there anyone else who would like to come if nanou can't make it? (shes not deffo yet). I will promise that Uwila will lead you astray and be a bad influence! If she doesn't then I will!

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 14:01

Oh no, I just heard Nanou might not be able to come either. So if there are any other interested parties, speak up as there may be a hotel room for you....

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 14:12

Uwila can you cancel one of the rooms if need be? I'm not that far away and can get a taxi home?

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 14:20

No, it's too late. Both rooms are ours. Just want someone to sleep in it, sinc I had to beg and plead to get DH to fork it over. I imagine he'll be none too impressed if noone sleeps in it.

Uwilalalalalala · 17/11/2006 14:24

OTOH, perhaps they will meet on the nanny threads one day and amuse us all.

2quokkasandaparetree · 17/11/2006 14:24

cmon guys who wants a night out? Mellow, pudding, anyone (sorry no time to type everyone on here)?!
