121 is drag too and was about £25 per head for 3 course & coffee I think. Did I say they do lovely food . Will see if I can find the site.

Hi guys. Haven't been keeping up with this thread very well. Life is too hectic at the moment.
I have been to Rubyz and the 113 club. Out of the two I thought Rubyz was better. I was a lot more drunk there though!!
It is a very good night but not for anyone easily offended or anyone who dislikes bad language or rude jokes. You have been warned!

I went to Rubyz with work last Christmas. I didn't really like it. Ok I hated it. That might have been who I was with though. And I'm no party pooper as you know . I thought the food was awful and overpriced. My vote would be for the other place, but ...... Ok, twist my arm ..... I'll come to Rubyz if you all want to but I 'aint being plucked out of the audience to be made a fool of on the stage. I can do that perfectly well at the table.

Well I've been thinking about this, and it was probably the people I was with that put me off Rubyz, that and the fact that I was completely sober .

So can I retract my statement about Rubyz?! If we went to Rubyz we wouldn't need to go on anywhere as we can dance there.

I really don't mind where we go as long as we go somewhere! There, that doesn't help the decision does it?!

BTW I just remembered what I did at Rubyz. I sent texts to 2 people who had left the team and weren't there asking them to "beam me up scottie" and said it was shite. One got through, the other I got no reply. When I saw her I asked her if she got it and she told me that it had been her work mobile, she'd handed it back when she left, and it had been passed on to another member of the team. In other words I'd managed to text someone who was sat in Rubyz with me .

It all sounds good to me I just need a date so I can organise a sitter if necessary. I'm not missing out on another mn night out

we're in the same boat tbh Flame but I am determind to go even if I only stay for the meal as i have missed so many of the meet ups this year.

C'mon then we need a date so babysitters can be arranged. What night is best for everyone? Guess Friday or Saturday? Places are going to start getting well and truely booked up on the lead up to Christmas to we need to book it soon.

Friday the 8th sounds ok with me as does the 1st but need some notice as I suspect the sitters I use will get booked up too.
