LadyOfTheFlowersIs1Baby1Bump · 15/11/2006 16:27

2 babies keep me busy! at different but both very demanding stages.
do far, ds1 (16m) has sabotaged my housework efforts by doing the following:
pulling all the stuff off the radiators
emptying my white wash out of the machine, dragging them through the house, making them dirty.
thrown all the nappies all over the lounge, twice
emptied both his toyboxes but played with nothing
fed his breakfast and lunch to the dogs
hit his brother (2m) 5 times
emptied the cutlery drawer of potato masher, wooden spoon, whisk etc
pulled all the pots and pans out of the cupboard

he will do tons more yet before dh gets home to a bomb site.
some days there is no stopping him. if i'm seeing to the baby i have to let him get on with it provided he's not in danger, it's so frustrating!!
but i love 'em to death!

LadyOfTheFlowersIs1Baby1Bump · 15/11/2006 16:31

didnt realise it was you pinktulips!! lol
i have this crap name coz the other all thought i was a fraudster coz i changed my name. will keep it like this for a bit till it sinks in who i am- 1baby1bump/2babies0bumps!!
both mine were planned too with 14m in between them, but i try to keep it a bit quiet otherwise i get looked at as though i've got a screw loose!!
most people's responses to the second pregnancy news was 'accident was it?' and i felt like saying 'no, but you'll have an 'accident' in a sec!' lol

PinkTinsel · 15/11/2006 16:45

have to admit i didn't realise it was you either til you added the 'is1baby1bump'

pmsl at 'no but you'll have an accident in a sec'. feel the same way when people jump to conclusions, although for me it's my first everyone presumes was an accident

LadyOfTheFlowersIs1Baby1Bump · 15/11/2006 16:46

mind you, sometimes i think i have got a screw loose.... like now when ds2 wont stop crying and ds1 is getting all the cuddlies out.... again.

PinkTinsel · 15/11/2006 18:31

i think your ds1 and my dd would have a lot in common, shes a bit of a destroyer as well. takes all the toys out and plays with none, pulls out everything not screwed down/locked, tears/breaks things for no apparent reason, throws herself off the couch onto the tile floor. and like you if i'm stuck feeding ds there's f-all i can do.

and yet it seemed wise to have a second?! thank the gods ds is a calm little man or i'd have been committed by now!

LadyOfTheFlowersIs1Baby1Bump · 15/11/2006 20:21

eh...me and you are scarily similar!
ds2 is a laid back little malibu man too!!

chocabloc · 15/11/2006 21:33

PINK TINSEL AND LADY! I only have one, will be seeking new sperm in the future, ex's wasnt fab! My ds throws, rips, slaps, breaks evreything, but wen ur tired, or just want to keep em quiet u let them get out the pans, clear it up later, thats the long thing!

Hey SWEET is it ur first, pls take plenty of gas and air, epidural everything! i didnt ave ne drugs until, an hour b4 he was born, fucking lucky i did cos that head wuda had me still in the hospital screaming till 2009! i was shit scared of the birth, but once irts hapn u just go with it, nad the other 2 gals r on number2! U DO 4GET THE PAIN! dYA NEED ANY TIPS, COS IM SURE U AVE TONS OF BOOKS, WEB PAFGES ETC! XX

LadyOfThePoinsettias · 17/11/2006 14:36

just be a bloody 'ard nut like me and have no pain relief! lol
both times!!
i am f'ing mental may i add....!

PinkTinsel · 17/11/2006 14:41

we really do have alot in common LotF

i was far too stubborn to take pain relief and it was fine. the pain was the least of my worries with dd's birth and with ds i'd done it before so i knew i could cope.

and honestly, you could care less about the pain afterwards and being able to walk and move around helps you feel so much better right afterwards

prettymum · 17/11/2006 14:48

gas and air was enough for me, but with dc2 it made me start hallucinating and i felt like i was going crazy!! but the labour did seem to speed up aswell!!!

chocabloc · 25/11/2006 21:06
