To be honest I've never tried but I imagine you have to take them out of the buggy? I'd never get ds back in, then to get him/buggy off bus while everyone waits for you.

Whereabouts are you sbdse?

shouldbedoingsomethingelse · 21/03/2007 10:26

Hi I am in sunny Highworth LOL and we used the buses (nos 7,10,11,17) on a regular basis. the only hassle I had was kids in buggy couldnt see of out windows(to look for trains!) so would want picking up anyway. Mine are now now old for pushchairs so we have to carry our bags now

Sometimes take my friends kids on the bus during day for a special treat they love it.

shouldbedoingsomethingelse · 21/03/2007 10:28

should say I have namechanged and was formerly Busybusymum!

definitely prefer it to calne!

McCadburysDreamyegg · 25/03/2007 17:05

It's not hard is it!

LadyOfTheFlowers · 25/03/2007 17:06

i have beeninvited to join. thought it might be a good way to make some friends seeing as all your childless mates runa mile once you have children.
but maybe this would be better?

mufti · 25/03/2007 17:08

what do they do, assuming it's not just about nappies?

LadyOfTheFlowers · 25/03/2007 17:18

they meet for coffee mornings etc or to take the kids out, probably jolly roger and stuff, im not sure. but deffo coffee and things, cakes hopefully! lol
they also meet up of evenings accaisionally to get down the pub etc. they are thinking of doing that soon actually to celebrate swindon council now prividing clothis with rebates for whatever you sepnt on buying cloth. they have been campiagning for it for years so want to celebrate. it was in thurdays adver.
i am not a member yet, but have the ladies number to call.

she said they do talk about nappies but other stuff too.

mufti · 25/03/2007 17:27

oh that is a good scheme , and i am not normally one to praise swindon council. oh , give it a go, try as many things as poss to meet people.

mufti · 25/03/2007 17:29
