So we have 8 votes each for the 9th, 16th and 23rd.

can Ses and Pixie only do 23rd? or am I reading it wrong?

SES can only do 23rd but Pixie can do any date, except 9th / 16th will be 'drink and dash' while the 23rd she can stay the evening.

I will likely come for a meal on the 23rd, I'll get friend out in the morning and do some touristy bits and use that as an excuse to have a bit of a break, drink and dash on the other two dates though as I'm working (well, come around 5/6pm and stay until everybody goes home!)

PS the best burgers in brighton are at the hobgoblin pub. Good chips too. Damn now I'm hungry.

I am working til 2 on the 9th and 23rd but could get the train straight after, I'm in Crawley so could be there by 3ish for drinks which may be all I'm well enough for anyway TBH! So don't go by my dates as I don't want to be awkward, make you change it and then bail out at the last minute! :)

I think there is a Mexican on New Road, haven't been there but seem to remember hearing that it's a bit pricey and they're a bit precious?

The Mexican is next to the theatre royal BBB, is nice , not too pricey BUT small and they usher you out to leave the table. Las Iguanas is other Mexican nearby.

Tapas place on North St meant to be ok, large so no big rush, not sure of name tho, Bellota I 'think'

We usually meet for lunch then go to a bar and sometimes stay out very late... Some people don't come for the meal but meet for drinks later.

Look , I will go on record and say I dislike Las Iguanas for many poor superficial reasons, but the food's ok, but I will drag myself in there if you horrible lot are there ;-)
