i'm not competing with the Derby one, i just can't make it. So anyone interested? was thinking maybe a saturday soonish meet at Graves Park in Sheffield or somewhere else more weatherproof! any takers?

shall we meet in front of glass house? am picking ds up from preschool at 3.15 then getting bus/tram over so will be 3.45/4 ish. hulababy how long will it take me to walk there from uni tram stop? (also will email you my mob no in case theres a problem)

10 minutes max. I will be walking that way up too although hoping to get there earlier and take ball and picnic mat to play with.

So you know what I look like - have a look on the moderators page I wil have 2yo DD, in a black mesh Maclaren Volo pushchair.

The glass house bit is at the top with all the flowers/plants isn't it? No problem. That sounds good.

am hoping to make it but will have to see how work goes, hoping to be able to leave at 3.15-3.30, pick DD up from nursery and be there for 3.45-4pm, hulababy could you email me your mob number so i can text if i'm running late/not able to make it, what time are people likely to stay to?

Did not realise meet up was Monday as in today. Thought it was in a few weeks time. I cant make it today as have other plans, thankfully indoor onesI have promised to take older DS bowling after school. At leats I won't get wet. I would love to make the next one please let me kow when it is.

Hello to ditsymum, I know the feeling, I still can't get used to being a SAHM and I would love to go back to work but DH won't let DS go to childminder and we have no family here so i am stuck with it. It's not so bad on the sunny days though as it least you can get into garden or go for a long walk.

I keep missing everything here!

I can't wait to get back online at home, we are in the middle of decorating/carpets being fitted after having house extended earlier this year - Chaos!!

Am at work today, so even though the weather is fine here (Doncaster) and I would love to mini meet in Sheffield at the botanic gardens, I'm afraid I will have to wait until the later meeting.

Something to look forward to then I hate thunder. Not started yet. And just put DD into bed for nap - hope she goes off before thunder starts!

its like dusk out of my window!! can't believe the change in the weather, just as well DH can pick DD and me up from nursery she hasn't got a coat!! thunder starting here now

There are loads of people rushing around, all hunched up in just tee shirts and shorts - obviously expecting today to be warm again. They look miserable
