Stranded in Sutton Coldfield

Hello mums. Have just moved back to the Sutton Coldfield area with my p,ds aged 8 months and dd aged 2. Have sadly lost contact with my old, child free friends and have no one to talk to! My dd goes to nursery two mornings but no room there for ds. I'd love to hear from any other mums in the area who'd be interested in meeting up. I'm 41 but kid myself I could pass for 35! Think the gray hair and saggy stomach gives me away though!

MIL is now getting DD from school for me, so I don't need to rush off. Not sure about RB though as she will need to get her DS from school.

Yep, 1.30 is fine by us. DS has a rotten cold by the way so I'll be the woman with the screaming red nosed baby and the badly behaved toddler. Am sure you'll recognise me! See you later.

Hey Ronnie, likewise! Sorry Hattie was being a bit naughty, but then she's only two! Controlled crying with DS seems to be working, he slept until 6.00 this morning, something of a record for my boy.

Thank God for t'internet eh Brummie? Bought all my xmas presents, birthday presents and clothes that way. If only Tesco had delivered to where I lived I need never have left that house! Now I live three doors down from a Tesco Extra and I'm never bloody out of there!!!

Lol hattiesmum! I must admit i do alot on t'internet (peter kay fan?) but only cos i'm lazy, cardiff is only 30 mins away!! Just out of interest, do you find being back in brum a bit busy and hectic? Each time i come home to see mom and dad i get really pissed off with the way people drive etc!!!! moan moan!! And i know i've got a brummie accent but do i really sound like that i'll stop now, sorry

LOVE Peter Kay! Coming back to Brum was a big shock at first. Found it noisy, busy and dirty. Very quickly stopped noticing the noise from cars and planes but still find it dirty and people can be very rude. Afraid we'll always have our Brummie accents though! I don't hear mine until I hear myself on tape, then I'm horrified!

Oh yes, the rudeness!!!!! Coming back next week to see mom and dad so i shall start psyching myself up now for the M5/M42 trauma!
