So, this started on the Ealing/Ricmond/Kingston meet-up thread. But there are too many conversations going on over there so I thought I'd start a new thread.

Where: Kew Gardens, Creepers and Crawlers
When: Saturday, 02 September
Time: 11:00

So, who is in? Speak up now.....

Uwila

Consider us in. 11am, 2 Sept is in my diary.

fatfox · 16/08/2006 20:23

DS says its called Climbers and Creepers (just to avoid any confusion)

MrsBigD · 17/08/2006 08:19

Shame, can't make it... are at a birthday party!

suejonez · 17/08/2006 09:43

I'll come if I've stopped panicking by then...

Uwila · 17/08/2006 09:49

Sue, if you come, I can bring you some boy / unisex clothes. I could probably clear out some baby toys for you too if you want.

The Kew Green Fair is also on that day, so we could always meander down there after Climbers and Creepers if we still have the energy.

Uwila · 22/08/2006 16:26

That's a good idea. Do they have bouncy castles. DD lives for bouncy castles.

So, is anyone else coming?!?!?!?!?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 22/08/2006 16:29

sorry dd has a party to go to that day

fatfox · 22/08/2006 17:45

Uwila

Pretty sure they do have bouncy castles. Its kind of obligatory nowadays isn't it?

My game plan is to get them tired at Climbers and Creepers, so they don't want to go on too many expensive rides at Kew Green Fair!!!

Mean mummy

Uwila · 23/08/2006 21:28

Well fatfox, looks like it's just the two of us. So, you can't back out or I'll have to go all alone.

fatfox · 24/08/2006 09:06

Uwila

I won't - looking forward to it At least with Climbers and Creepers it doesn't matter too much if it rains.

suejonez · 24/08/2006 11:47

I've just realised that I have Russain lesson 11-1 that day. If you're still around at 1pm I'll come and meet you for a coffee.

Uwila · 24/08/2006 12:06

You can always call my mobile when you get. I think we'll still be around, but may have moved onto the funfair by 1:00. What do you think, fatfox?

OP posts:
fatfox · 24/08/2006 12:43

Uwila

I'm sure we'll still be there. If its sunny, we'll probably be elegantly lounging on the ground at the fair, looking lovely, while our little ones play contentedly and happily nearby.

If its p*sing down, we'll be marooned in Climbers and Creepers! I usually dissapear into Kews Gardens for days on end, so I'm sure we'll still be there

fatfox · 24/08/2006 12:44

Hi Suejonez

How's it going?

suejonez · 24/08/2006 13:46

I'd forgotten it was Kew Fair that day, yes I could meet you there. I'll call one of you on mobile and liaise.

Hello FF, how am I? ...hmmm not really sure at the moment. Panic has been replaced by general floaty disassociated feeling. Quite nice really. However I ought to be getting some travel dates the end of the week so panic should set in nicely again.

suejonez · 24/08/2006 13:47

Uwila they usually have a small petting animal bit which is quite cute (poor animals)

Uwila · 24/08/2006 15:36

oooo... travel dates at the end of the week? That's exciting.

OP posts:
suejonez · 24/08/2006 16:06

hopefully - will either be exciting (October sometime) or terrifying (mid-sept). Nothing is guaranteed so I may not hear this week. Fingers crossed. Someone I know got 5 days notice!

fatfox · 24/08/2006 17:54

Suejonez - 5 days notice - !!

Wow its so exiting. I am exited by proxy and can't wait to meeet LO

You must be in a state of limbo/suspense, waiting to find out when its all going to start happening.

When you get back, are you able to take time of work to spend with LO?

rabbitrabbit · 24/08/2006 18:17

Hello all, I had a lovely welcome from you all on another thread-and then I chickened out hugely!

I would love to come to a meetup with my ds, though unfortunately we can't do the 2nd. Would it be okay for us to come along to the next one? (assuming there is one)
I have a-mostly-lovely three year old ds and I live in Teddington with dh. Currently sahm and still debating number two
