Just spent a week in CP down south, and after an afternoon in the spa, I have decided that we should have our next cocktail night in a hot tub. I'll let someone else figure out the details...

BTW botanics is still on for Wednesday at 10.30am think there are three of us going so far

But liking the sound of cocktails in a hot tub . I'd got all excited about a conference I'm going to in Dec as there is a sauna and pool in the hotel so bought a new costume. Till my friend pointed out that the hotel will be filled with our colleagues. Not a bunch of people who would come top in a list of people I'd 1) like to see in a pair of speedos 2) like to see me in a bikini.

I don't think we did, mine are away this week, next week if yourearoundi could pick them up a bit early from childminders and meet you in park for a late play on wed or thur. Are you free. Other than that ill have to find a weekend, sorry I'm being so awkward
Spiggy i am just down for various events though now I think about it I also have a Bristol and Birmingham, in there that I have lumped into the "in London" part of ,y brain (they're all down south!) I will look at my diary and have my people call your people ;)

Waterbirth study day down in Huddersfield. Early start on Wednesday morning so a group of us are driving down straight from uni tomorrow. We finish at 12 so even after driving down should have ample time for pub, a decent meal to soak up alcohol and a nice early night to be able to start the day sober and hangover free . Not that I am planning on getting pished at all really, not wasting the study day, it should be fab! But nice to think that I could in theory get drunk without children to face in the morning or overnight.

And thanks Stealth - I was the newbie at the curry night a few months ago, not sure if you were there though because I too am a bit dopey on who's who! (I'm clear on Juney and Paleontologist, and have an idea about Viking and Spiffy, but that's about it!)

I don't think you met Viking, but she's lovely and will be there tomorrow! Spiffy was at the curry night I think? She's lovely also. All the Durham MNers are lovely! I think we got lucky
