Bump - glad you can make it kiskidee
Vennels is the one next to waterstones, on sadler street - am I thinking of the right place?

kiskidee · 20/02/2007 20:31

easy to find then. i remember indith saying sadler street now.

Katy44 · 21/02/2007 07:23

Just us two? Not sure what to do as tomorrow is the latest I can ask for the time off.
Do we assume everyone can make it?

kiskidee · 21/02/2007 08:17

i wouldn't bother asking for the time off so late. its a shame that everyone just dropped away. i guess i wont be bothering with it in the future either.

Indith · 21/02/2007 11:54

I'm so sorry it seems like it is not going ahead. I hate feeling that I've let people down, very aware that I've bailed on you twice Kiskidee. My reasons are already on this thread . Shame the rest seem to have left too. Hope to see you at B&B when you are on maternity katy

Katy44 · 21/02/2007 19:46

Definitely to Bumps and Babies!
I'll check again tomorrow - this is one of the threads you have to remember to check, so people might turn up tomorrow.
Indith, hope you are becoming rat free

andlittlelambmakesfour · 22/02/2007 19:06

Just found this thread. I'm in Durham city and would love to meet up. Sorry I can't make tomorrow. It's half term and I have all the children. Enjoy the cake if you do go! I too spend too much time in Vennels!

Katy44 · 26/02/2007 19:36

Thought I'd give this a bump

Indith · 26/02/2007 19:50

Hi littlelamb.

Tis quiet around here isn't it katy!

Back in Durham yesterday and am officially in a rat free zone! The scummier than I students next door now have had 2 nice fat dead ones and the landlady has had our holes blocked up.

andlittlelambmakesfour · 01/03/2007 09:06

What about next week? I work Mondays and Fridays so mid week is best for me. Glad to hear rats are gone! Did you have nice man from city council who makes it all seem so scientific? We had mice when we moved in here a couple of years ago. I was at the frantic cleaning stage of pregnancy and the mice were a trauma but he did make me feel better!

Indith · 01/03/2007 10:38

nah he just shoved poison down and helpfully told us it was very tasty for them so we`were left thinking we had stuff in our flat specifically to attract rats!

midweek fine by me, just name a time and place (it will involve cake right?)

3rd time lucky I hope. Nothing can happen this time can it? Mind you ds will be 8 weeks next week and not got jabs appointment yet......

andlittlelambmakesfour · 05/03/2007 21:08

With a very little one i think you should name time and place - DS is 18 months and v flexible and others at school, so I can work round you. Gloriously free diary tomorrow and Thursday and Wed is fine except for lunch time - she says ignoring totally need to work while she can still get to her desk. Vennells good for me or anywhere you choose.

Indith · 07/03/2007 12:45

Oh god me? erm bit late for thurs now really isn't it? Next wed? Mornings are nice, less grizzling involved. 10.30?

lozzawoo · 11/03/2007 00:04

I live close to Darlington!! Hooray mums from my area

andlittlelambmakesfour · 17/03/2007 18:20

Sorrrrrry have been poorly and now committed to decorating eeerrgh next week as DH has day off. Week after?

Indith · 17/03/2007 19:01

Aw poor you. Actually we have been poorly too, ds caught a cold and then gave it to me, so generous my boy
Week after next is fine, off to the lakes on 31st though.

Indith · 31/03/2007 09:08
