Ok, I have a birthday party to go to that afternoon, but DH has agreed to go for me even though the host is someone he doesn't really get on with .

He must really feel guilty about all the business travel of late!

(He is normally v encouraging about me going out, and about having time off, and about him taking the kids. But he hates going to birthday parties.)
