She's like a real life girl who lives in oz, we shall stroke and kiss her and drink champagne, who's up for it.

London is the place i might add. God knows where yet.

Oh salivate and drool at the tales of continental ham

Did you know there is NO serrano ham to be had in this continent. They won't let it in. And no free range pork supplier for thousands of kilometres. Hey Ho

Of course there's room for tigermoth, there's room for all of you! Waiter - bring us another trough of salami and another vat of wine. Huzzah!

MrsBadcrumble · 30/07/2006 09:06

I smell a business opportunity there SW
A few pigs...a friendly abbatoir...a few troughs for curing and a cool place to hang 'em...

please bear in mind you may not be able to post freely here in future

arfishymeau · 10/08/2006 06:56

Not stopping over in Sydney on your way over SW?

Oooh. Oooh. HANG ON!!!!!!!

That might co-incide with my planned-but-not-yet-booked-or-more-importantly-paid-for jolly back to the UK.

If you find yourself on a 24 hour flight with an irritated thirty-something, invariably clutching a smuggled on bottle of wine, with a "charming" 3 year old, feel free to either scream "ARFISHY!" or keep your head down and feel grateful that it isn't you being tutted at by the rest of the plane.

Hmm. Thinking about it though, even if I am in the UK I'm not sure how I'll manage to wangle a meet up in the city while I'm there on my own with DD. Perhaps suggest a 2pm start? DD is trained to last 1 bottle hour at lunch venues which serve wine.

suzywong · 10/08/2006 07:26

someone can take turns to bring out cheese and onion crisps and lemonade, we'll find a quiet spot for her and her buggy.

arfishymeau · 10/08/2006 11:06

Yep. This calls for a Greggs sausage roll and a fruit shoot.

suzywong · 10/08/2006 15:18

will you really be here on October 7th arfy, terrorists permitting?

I am thinking about All Bar One or The Pitcher and Piano both on Dean Street in Soho.

Or maybe the phonebox outside

Tinker · 10/08/2006 15:25

I have an excuse - Oct 7th is my birthday

MarsLady · 23/08/2006 21:38

Just a wee bump so that this doesn't slip my mind.

Beetroot · 24/08/2006 10:54

MrsFio · 24/08/2006 10:55

Beetroot · 24/08/2006 10:56

If you read the title

meeting on 7th October in soho. venue tbc.

Names in an orderly list please

suzywong · 25/08/2006 05:50

yes come on, I have to make nametags and party hats and peg dollies for those unable to attend

suzywong · 25/08/2006 07:44

right, I am starting to take this lacksadaisical approach to my generous offer of an audience with myself VERY seriously now. Time is ticking. Chop chop or there could be a sulk coming on.

I'll bring some Brownies, I am an amusing drunk. Don't make me sound anymore desparate than I already am.

WelshBoris · 25/08/2006 08:53

I'm sure they do booths for 3 people in McDonalds

suzywong · 25/08/2006 08:55

WelshBoris · 25/08/2006 08:55

You'd have a much better piss up with me

harpsichordcarrier · 25/08/2006 08:55
