Time for a new thread I think, as our inane chatterings have almost filled up t'other one.

Venue booked, people paid. Now to sort out our gladrags and handbags for our annual drunken extravaganza. There will be gin aplenty and dancing on chairs SayCool and dances no doubt and the foolhardy will do their kamikaze Boris Bike tricks.

Saturday 30th November, venue known to the paid up crew, time - well officially 7:30, but I suspect there will be early starters...

Really looking forward to seeing you all there, and also welcoming the Mottley Crew coming from MNHQ.

Oh, and I've promised to make cupcakes with, shall we say, MN acceptable wording

Just dropped by to say I don't think I can make it after all - basically I'm just too broke to come up to London for a weekend with you gin guzzlers Maybe if I had a job it would help!

Was great that I could pop in for last year's do, and meet some of you in RL, but I was up in taaaahn anyway then, so was more doable.

Have namechanged Quint but lovely to see you too. I am having a wobble because my best friend has asked me to have her dc next weekend because they have an exeat and can't go home. I was soft and said yes - trying to work out what I can do at present because feel a bit guilty leaving them to fend for themselves when they are supposed to be receiving love and care and good food . Trying to work it out - and not sure yet if DH is in London next weekend or not.

Quint - DH is stepping into the breach with the visitors. Shall we meet at 6.45 on the platform at EP or PB. I think the easiest route is along the DL and a 10 minute walk or 3 minute cab at destination. Should take about 45 minutes. Are you on the FB Group and if so who are you? pm me.
