i'm up For it - but then i always usually am...something to do with the cocktail mabs forces me to drink just beofre i stagger to station.

Horton road is the 50a
It is an excellent choice as it is in the catchment for all the best schools
2shoes Al Fresco is on the seafront

You can get the 50a in the town centre directly outside marks and spencer only 5 mins from the station.There are always houses for sale in Horton which is good One of ds's friends lives on the nexr rd along

Sorry- have decided against after all. Had good day today but I've just got too much to be do and am too skint to justify the trip. Partner would think I was ttp bigtime I'm afriad. Boo hiss. I will definitely try and make the next one. Have a lovely time.

Also sorry I can't make it tomorrow either, dd has Grade 2 ballet exam on Tuesday am, I have to take her to a final private ballet lesson tomorrow in Bexhill.

morning girls....

I'm bowing out of this one (...I'lll never get to meet you all!).

We were back up in london/south london yesterday (where we used to live) and didn't get back until very very late, ds1+3 were up at 6:30am so god only knows wht sort of day I'm in for with them.
Ds2 and dh will probably sleep until 10am....lucky sods!

Also, my sister is coming today to take our dog and guinea pigs as she's "pet sitting" for us when we go on hols nextweek. She knows I was going on an MN meet up but I feel a bit guilty that she's driving a 240 miles round trip to take my animals back......It is abit cheeky, isn't it??

Reallly really really sorry. I'm sure you're probably all fed up with me saying that I'm coming and then not every single time theres a brighton meet up. I'm not a hairy arsed trucker or some weirdo stalker whos gonna sit in Alfrescos watching you all from behind a newpaper with eye holes cut into it.....I'd love to come but I'm soooo tired I'd just be a miserable, whingy grump sitting there wishing I could drink with you all too.

Really really sorry....I hope you all have lovely time, I'm really gutted to miss out on it again
Ohhh, BTW....Don't forget the sun cream, it's gonna be a scrorcher today apparently

It's a toss up for me atm. Clean the whole house or go out and lunch with excellent company and booze. Hmmmmmmm!

I reckon I can slum it for another few days. I'll just have to make sure I don't invite any clean people round to my house this week.

Back from the ballet lesson now, think dd's got the right attitude "Mummy I love ballet".

I've got an idea for the next meetup: the newly done-up De La Warr Pavilion Restaurant in Bexhill-on-Sea

Food is excellent (but not pricy), the wine is superb, the view unbeatable.

I'll organise at the end of summer/very early September.

I think its time for you girls to see a bit of the rest of East Sussex, I know when I lived in Brighton for nearly 10 years I got very Brighton-centric

i wouldnt be able to attend bexhill cam am afraid. i would have to stay sober to drive and thats not an option. but hope you all have lovely time.

was nice to meet you all to, I'm just sorry i was such a hungover state! I don;t think I normally look that pale and haggered!
having said that, have had a run in with my boss today and feeling mighty pissed off and possibly jobless so could be looking pale and haggered for a while now
I think Bexhill could be a little to far for me too, but I will def meet up with you all again

Haven't you lot heard of trains? There is a train stop at Bexhill on the Brighton Line y'know

Plus, I'd have to get the traim meself as I don't live in Bexhill either.

Brighton-centric, even those of you who don't live in Brighton.

But I don't mind not organising, I'm crap at it anyway.

lol it's not that, its about 40 odd miles from me, might aswell go to London and do it properly for that!
I suggested Shoreham a few weeks ago and they all copped out of that one because it wasn't central too, and that practically IS Brighton
