If there are as many of us as last time maybe we should try and book somewhere.

survivour, you are probably aware of this but just in case you hadn't factored it in, the area is within the congestion charging zone so another fiver(I think).

survivour · 18/02/2004 14:11

Yes I remember, they started charging on Feb 17th last year, the day we went to Great Ormond Street to have the babys operation. That was not very nice of them. I have a friend who lives near Old street tube, with abit of luck maybe I could park outside hers and use the
tube????

Kayleigh · 18/02/2004 14:15

survivour, it would be lovely if you could make the meet-up. Happy anniversary !!
How is he- all recovered from his bug ?

survivour · 18/02/2004 14:19

He is much better thanks. About time too, I think, its like he knows something is different about today, but not sure what. Its probably me, I keep picking him up and cuddling him!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Kayleigh · 24/02/2004 12:40

I am so sorry but I can't come. I have to go to a family funeral tomorrow at 2:00.

Please can someone (who knows my real name!) take over the table booking. At the moment the booking is for 8 at 12:30 in my first name but you may need to phone them and adjust numbers tomorrow am. I'm also still holding our float (£18), so will have to keep it for next meet-up

I am really sorry as i was so looking forward to seeing you all

binkie · 24/02/2004 13:44

Kayleigh, very sorry indeed to hear that. It sounds as if it might have been sudden? Poor you.

Do hope there's a March meet-up and see you then.

binkie · 24/02/2004 13:46

Sorry, everyone - posted too soon, meant to add I can't make tomorrow so can't be the person who takes over.

Kayleigh · 24/02/2004 15:27

bump

Thanks Binkie, it wasn't really sudden. My great aunt died yesterday (am Jewish and we bury as soon as possible). She was 88, bless her, and had been in hospital for 3 weeks with dehydration and then a stroke. My mum was very close to her and is very upset so am working at home today in between nipping round and seeing my mum.

OP posts:
dinosaur · 24/02/2004 15:30

I can do it - I know your real name.

Very sorry to hear about your great-aunt

Kayleigh · 24/02/2004 19:02

Thanks so much dinosaur.

Have a great lunch girls.

OP posts:
kaz33 · 25/02/2004 09:42

dinosaur · 25/02/2004 09:43

Okay, so who can still make lunch today? Please let me know so I can confirm numbers to restaurant.

madgirl · 25/02/2004 09:46

Twinkie · 25/02/2004 10:06

Metrobaby · 25/02/2004 10:16

I can waddle along too today ...

PS Looking vvvvv pg these days!

Metrobaby · 25/02/2004 10:27

btw - does anyone know whereabouts is Pizza Pom. near??

dinosaur · 25/02/2004 10:41

Trying to do a link to a map here

Metrobaby · 25/02/2004 10:53

Thanks Dino - streetmap gave me some other directions that were just off St Mary's Axe which completely confused me... Your link is the one that I was thinking of - which IIRC is near the Kings Arms (or is it the Kings Head?) pub

dinosaur · 25/02/2004 11:02

Not sure about the pub Metrobaby - 'fraid that doesn't ring any bells with me...

Twinkie · 25/02/2004 11:05

Where are you coming from?? If where the last meet was keep walking past Tower 42 towards L'Poll St station - go past La Senza and Boots and there is a courtyard thing through an alley - Pizza Pomadoro is through there.

Twinkie · 25/02/2004 11:07

Idf you go through Next (the shop) next to the Kings Arms you come out intot he courtyard in which is Pizza Pomadoro!! (I think??)

dinosaur · 25/02/2004 11:14

Okay so we've got:

me
madgirl
twinkie
metrobaby
vivat
