Who's up for? What date? Where to go?

Saturday's are: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th.

18th suits me best and my birthday is the 20th and I want to get drunk

I know we will all be thinking of Pesto and raise a glass to her that day. It is terribly sad and I have been in text contact with her and will make sure she knows we will do anything we can to help.

Donatello is very big, sure they could accommodate us. Also like El Mexicana and La Tasca nearby. All Bar One also pretty easy time wise. x

Mabs, El Mexicana is fairly strict on drinking - they will refuse to serve alcohol if people in a group are inebriated.

Melody, I've never been to a MN meet up so I have no idea about levels of drunkenness :)

There was at least one non-drinker last time. I would say we were jolly rather than drunk, although I don't know what the hard core got up to after I left!

If anybody knows local MNetters, please let them know about the meet or message me their names and I'll send out a mass mail this weekend.

I cocked up when organising the last one and was contacting people from all over the country as I confused threads and I still don't now half of the locals MN names so managed to miss those off too Hmm I will be digging out old threads to message people too :)

How many turned up to the last meet? With 14 we might be okay? The deposit is a bitch though!

As MABs said, no pressure to drink, I didn't drink until we got to the second venue last time I went and was not so unwillingly convinced into a few glasses of wine and a couple of expensive cheeseboards! I'll be drinking a bit, it's my birthday the Monday after and I want to celebrate this year! But as BBB said it's generally a jolly atmosphere :)

I'm happy with anything food-wise as long as there is veggie stuff and preferably gluten free stuff available, but I'll eat gluten if I have too :)

Thank you MABs, I should grab a list of MN names from you at some point for this kind of thing! I had one for the last meet, fuck knows what I've done with it but that didn't have a huge amount of the MNetters I've met on it as I have forgotten a lot of the MN Names and the RL ones Blush

I'm happy to pop down with the deposit if everyone decides on El Mexicano, but Donatello might be better for special diets. And numbers if that cat gets her thumb out her bum and ropes in a few far-flungers!

BBB - I know, I feel bad for forgetting half of the locals last time though Blush/Grin And I enjoy a good MN Meet Wink I missed the last one so have to make it up, DP is positively encouraging it this time, I think he may need a break from my moaning or something Hmm

I've never been to El Mexicano or Donatello, I just like good food so am up for anything others like, even the good old chilli pickle :)
