Thought I would start a new thread as the old one is getting full.

Next meet up is on Wednesday 10th April, 10ish at the Durham Botanical Gardens. We will either be in the entrance or staking a couple of the picnic tables by the pond.
I will be giving Vikinglady a lift.

Indith · 28/05/2013 19:02

Lovely night, great to see you all.

Oh no indith! Bad luck!

goldenretriever · 02/06/2013 15:02

Surprisingly I wasnt locked out after getting the last bus. Cocktails and curry - definitely a winning combination!

LeggyBlondeNE · 03/06/2013 10:00

I was with you in spirit on Saturday - went to bed with A at 8pm, full of lamb bhuna and peshwari naan. Glad you had fun!

LeggyBlondeNE · 03/06/2013 10:02

Indith - after that late from rowing debacle I reckon he still owed you! ;)

Indith · 03/06/2013 15:05
Grin

I think his getting his own back was rolling in a little worse for wear at 1.30am this morning after a wedding Grin.

But then he had to get up and sort all the children out this morning

Night weaning was rather undone last night though. Got ds2 down. He woke 45 mins later. I tried to get him back off and failed so left him for a bit. He stopped yelling after a few mins and all was quiet. Waited 5 mins before going to check, assuming he had gone to sleep but he was sitting in the middle of his cot and burst into tears as soon as he saw me :( Cuddled him and he clung to me for dear life (am trying not to feel guilty, only left him a few mins and he merrily goes to sleep on his own for the childminder). Ended up snuggling and feeding on sofa. When dh got home we were in bed together and dh was in no shape to be dealing with him so we spent the night together.

Thankfully my mentor has just done her week of nights so I think I have 6 weeks until I'm on nights and therefore getting a nice long run of uninterrupted daytime sleep!

goldenretriever · 06/06/2013 22:52

How has your first week gone, Indith?

Indith · 10/06/2013 17:58

first week was good. Lots of learning to do! Shattered after yesterday (13 hour shift).
