Hi

My name is Liz, am 39years old and mother to three children, daughter aged 12 from first marriage and two little boys aged 3 and 22 months. Have recently taken career break as finding it tough with two little ones being so close in age, moved area 18 months ago and as I am scottish and hubby is irish, we have no family.
Please reply if you are near to me or would like to email/chat/meet?

I know things happen when you plan things and for all sorts of reasons people have to pull out, but up to yesterday everyone was going. I wasnt on all day as i was busy..came on 10 mins before i went to hairdresser to find a msn message saying because so and so wasnt going then they werent going to(this person had asked me for a lift and i had spent quite a bit of time looking at AA etc to get directions to her house), Kev had a problem changing shifts and on top of it all, I had asked a friend to come along as I had been raving on about these new friends! TBH, when it was arranged and you said you couldnt go and Leanne wasnt sure, I felt like saying then i wont bother either but i didnt want to let the others down and i thought it would look bad. Anyway, put it this way, wont be putting myself out for the next one..has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth to be honest..Friend and I went on our own but wasnt the same, had nice enough meal and came home(i was never having a late night as friend is 32 wks pregnant with twins and i have to be up early with boys to take them to nursery)

Sorry for rant...lol...you know its not like me

I've just been on the other site (I'm guilty of lurkingBlush) it's a such a shame how everything's turned sour. At least we know now WHO to trust and who not to I suppose but I don't feel comfortable posting there at the moment. I'm glad you and your friend had a nice night out even though there was only the two of you. There was no way I could make it as dh was working at a night meeting.
I'll look forward to meeting up again when you come back off your hols!Smile

Well I said my piece on the other site..very unlike me but i felt it had to be said. I dont like what has happened but there is some new people there who have rocked the boat in my opinion. The people you and I know best..and you know who they are, are fully behind what I said and the reason i said it. I am going to stay clear for a few days myself now..I have also said to the Rotherham mum that I would prefer it to be her, you, me and her relative that meet up next time and she was in full agreement. She feels that this new element has made it not so good for her too(god i feel like i am writing in code but dont want to use names)

Anyway..away to meadowhell this morning to try and get some last minute stuff for hols...kev is working tomorrow so got to do it today whilst he is here to help me with boys.

Yes I'm also keeping away from the other site for a while...and I'd also prefer it to be you, me, the rotherham mum and her relative too!! LOL Yes it's better to not use names I guess.
Anyway, have a good day at meadowhell today and don't spend too much! LOL. I'm watching the cup final at 3pm here at home with dh (I'm a big Liverpool fan..I'm not called AngieLFC for nothing!Wink)
Dh working tomorrow and won't be back until Monday night so at least I can catch up with a bit of housework I suppose!Grin

You and my OH would hit if off..he is a big liverpool supporter and I forgot yesterday was the cup final..he was at every tv shop's window yesterday afternoon and as soon as we got into car, he had 5live on radio lol....great big roar when he found out they had won...lol

Dont know if i have told you but i am a big man utd fan...hope that doesnt affect our friendship?? LOL

Well got kids to see to so better go...away over to that Cortonwood and that Asda shop you and I went to for more stuff for hols...(think i have bought way too much.lol)
