I cannot justify the expense . Work started on our kitchen on Monday and there are loads of extra things I would like (new baking stuff, deep clean of the whole house to get rid of the dust once everything is finished in a couple of weeks, new blind for the kitchen/utility and the list goes on...). Whilst DH would never begrudge me going, I think I need to play fair seen as it is him that has given me free reign of his bonus.

Me too keeping it live. Even though (as said previously) I am pooing my pants a bit at the thought of meeting in RL but would be so proud of myself if I did. Even if I just stood in the corner and drank loads of which I'm exceptionally good at.

I don't want a table plan. I don't want formal seating.
I always end up sitting next to some dull fuck when there is fixed seating. It's like the law or something.

I know it means you may miss out on some people you want to meet, so I totally understand the intention. It is just a bit cringy if you don't kind of click at all with the person you get seated next to.
